Best not to group everyone in one lump. Some of us couldn't give a sheeps left nut about Hamilton. :sheep:

Just your comment wasn't clear what with all the dotdotdots.

Bills a racer he knows why Button was able to pass Schumi in one go.
He is just stirring.

I do agree about seeing the beginning of a legend, just hope he doesn't go to Ferrari! :hehe:

Well Luca has again raised the 3 car team idea. If they got that in for 2013 how would an SF driver line-up of Nando, Lewis and Seb look. Who'd win?

Ferrari would buckle at the idea of having just two world-class drivers racing for them, let alone three! One is the most they can manage, propped up with an average driver to support the main player.

I swear, I can't understand why several in here are so sensitive about any sort of comment involving Hamilton.

Same can be said for Vettel and Alonso less for Alonso because he doesn't have as many fans here but anytime anything remotely derogatory is mentioned about Vettel it turns into a 10 page discussion, so its not really only Hamilton fans that are like that.

And i personally don't care if you want to bitch about Hamilton in every post its quite clear you have very emotional feelings for him i just found it funny how no matter what the subject of the thread or discussion is you always manage to sneak the Hamilton hate into your posts.

I'm getting quite tempted to start counting the fanboy posts for every driver. Normally I go outside before I start though.

Every driver has fanboys. I think you'll find that the non-fanboys are a minority group.

However, people should be able to state there opinion without getting jumped on - hence I really dislike the QUOTE button as it is often used more for bad than good. I'm sure I'm one who's classified as a Vettel "Fan-boy," but I don't think I'll jump on anyone for disagreeing with me - I just follow it up by rattling of more statistics or by repeating the same thing over and over again. But this keeps the forum ticking - and the advertisers earn their money.

Tbh, I don't know what bill wrote that caused offense, or why the response back to him had to be turned into a personal attack on Bill for stating his own opinion.

"Fanboys" are crucial to F1's success. We all have a favourite driver - but Formula One fandom is also based on a lot of if's and but's. Massa Fans will always have a big IF with 2008, so do Hamilton fans... But do we remember the big IF's and BUT's from championships decided 30 years ago? Because of the many IF's and BUT's, there will always be a disagreement. We just need to be able to accept disagreements, or disagree with them without turning them into attacks.

Honestly, if someone cannot accept opinions in a sport so full of speculation - watch lawn bowls or something...

Your a dreamer mate ^, im still meaning to reply to your message btw havent ignored ya!

Itd be nice, and thats all that i need to go into, because it just will not happen, far too many idiots to spoil what you could achieve, worst thing about being an F1 supporter full stop. Hamilton crashing or getting a bad results especially if it aint his fault (and it usually isnt if you read up) breaks my heart when i wait a month or two weeks for it all excited, but the worst thing about F1, the fans, what a shame that is, because i ditched football because of the fans but at least they can admit where their team lacks whilst hating other teams, f1 fans hate other teams and drivers whilst unable to admit what their team/driver lacks.

For such a technical sport the fans are the dumbest c**** on earth.

Considering this forum probably has a higher Hamilton fanbase than a Vettel or Alonso or any other driver fanbase i would be extremely surprised if the Hamilton fanboys didn't have the highest count.

My point was there are fanboys for every driver on the grid, generally more for the more talented and successful drivers and all of those fans jump in head first to defend their driver when derogatory remarks are made against them, some fans will even jump in with an extremely defensive attitude when someone says their driver had an average race.

Its not exactly only Hamilton fans that take offense to their driver constantly being berated for no apparent reason.

As i said i don't really care too much if Bill wants to post his feelings about Hamilton in every post, he has pretty much done that since i joined this forum, i personally think Hamilton was pretty bad in the race so me and bill probably have similar opinions of Hamilton in the race.

I just personally found it funny that he always manages to as i said earlier sneak in little potshots at Hamilton in pretty much every post he makes, if that is considered a personal attack and i broke the forum rules than give me a warning/ban whatever is appropriate but it wasn't really intended as a personal attack.

Perhaps my criticizing you as making a personal attack is a personal attack on my behalf. :wavey:

There's one for you - now where's the head exploding smiley? :hehe:

Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton have heaped praise on Sebastian Vettel as he closes in on the driver's championship.

If Vettel wins in Singapore and Alonso is fourth or lower while neither Jenson Button nor Mark Webber are second, then Vettel will be world champion. It would see him take away Alonso's record of being the youngest double world champion, winning back-to-back titles, but Alonso said that both Vettel and Red Bull fully deserve the success on the back of a dominant 2011 season so far.

"He is driving fantastically at the moment," Alonso said. "This year he makes no mistakes or very few mistakes, where last year we had a few more chances. In general, he has been the best driver with the best package and they deserve where they are."

Massa echoed his team-mate's words, saying that Vettel's performances this year have been "incredible".

"Vettel deserves it, because, even if he is in the most competitive car on the grid, what he has done is incredible and the title is well deserved," Massa said. "It's not nice when the championship is over as early as this, but he did the job in the best car and this is the result."

Lewis Hamilton also paid trubite to Vettel, highlighting his approach when being so dominant.

"I think he's driven exceptionally this year. He's really driven very, very well. He's finished first or second in all the races apart from one. Massively consistent, massively well controlled, his persona, his attitude, has been very professional. He's made very few mistakes."

While Jenson said he is sick of the finger :hehe:

All JB said was: "Vroom, vroom, I'm gonna get him, vroom, vroom!"
