Seriously no one is saying Vettel isn't an amazing driver and no one is saying Vettel cant compete with the best in the sport currently or well no one with a brain.

But he also isn't head and shoulders above everyone else on the grid like some people seem to think.

He is when he stands on the RB7. :P

The beginning of a legend. The same things were said about Schuey...nothing special, not head and shoulders above, just has a better car....etc. Fact is, not everyone can win in the best car....see Webber for example. That pass on Alonso....thing of beauty. Apparently easier than passing Schuey in a back marker car. Button took what....two corners to pass him? A very entertaining race all in all.

I do think it is actually quite amazing how you're able to criticize or just plain hate on Hamilton in every post you make on this forum.

Its impressive.

This is the sort of hate that could completely turn on its head into love. All it needs is the 'right push' and if it happens. :hehe:

Bills a racer he knows why Button was able to pass Schumi in one go.
He is just stirring.

I do agree about seeing the beginning of a legend, just hope he doesn't go to Ferrari! :hehe:

Well Luca has again raised the 3 car team idea. If they got that in for 2013 how would an SF driver line-up of Nando, Lewis and Seb look. Who'd win?

If you refuse to play the game, he'll resort to playing with himself.

It would be a total disaster!

I wouldn't call the Merc a back marker car! As for Button getting past quicker, Schumacher's tyres were shot by then. It's no secret that the Merc is quite hard on it's rear tyres.

I'm actually struggling to see your point here. Are you belittling Hamilton for seemingly being happy to study Merc's rear wing and diffuser for lap after lap or are you putting Schumacher down or are you putting Vettel down? That one's a thinker.

You guys are entirely too sensitive. If anyone comments on a race where Hamilton didn't do so well, you go off on tangents about it. There was no such reaction when we all commented about Alonso losing a championship by spending an inordinate amount of time behind a car far beneath his. I swear, I can't understand why several in here are so sensitive about any sort of comment involving Hamilton. I doubt his own father is so touchy about such things. I wasn't belittling anyone, I was simply commenting on the race. I was far more critical of Webber who I mentioned by name and nobody was offended but even an offhand reference to Hamilton sets you guys off. Relax and enjoy the racing without so much emotion tied up in one driver.....you'll find the season far more enjoyable. As I said, the race was very entertaining...as has been most of this season. When Schumacher was dominating like this the racing wasn't nearly as entertaining to me. Vettel checked out and left everyone else for dead but the race was still fun to watch.
