Just watched it on Starz On Demand. Pretty good - schmexy and gory.

Yah that is what I heard yet sadly I'll have to wait for the DVD set. As far as historical correctness considering what we are fed did you find it to be atleast partially correct?

i just watched Spartacus via torrentz, not bad bit of 300 feel to it mixed with Gladiator. Alot of boobs so i like it.

Did you read the books? I've been keeping track of show/book comparisons on each episode since there are things that are glossed over or boiled down to one sentence that were much more prominent in the books, but I think they're doing a hell of an adaptation for HBO. There are a lot of visual queues and hints throughout the show that you really have to go back and watch a couple of times to catch.

Boobs and a$$. It's basically softcore *censored* mixed in with a story, entertaining but I get too easily distracted that I don't really manage to follow the stories in episodes anymore! The women are insanely hot.
