So what is JB's yearly salary?

6 mil a year from McLaren

Ah ok, I still think he should have stayed where he was but oh well atleast he is once again employed by a great team.

Well it's worth considering how realistic it was for him to stay. It's very likely Mercedes are waiting on Vettel. I suspect he'd rather jump than be pushed.

Too much thought involved for me mate, I only care about what happens on the track  .

isnt vettel commited witrh red bull for the next 5 years tho ?

I'm pretty sure he's not. I think his Red Bull contract isn't that long really, and it's flexible.

But it'll be interesting to watch Vettel. Red Bull could continue to be a worthy team, or he could take an opening at Merc or Ferrari within the next year or two.

I believe Vettel signed a 3 year deal with an Option on a 4th, something like that. But contracts are meaningless, look at Kimi

I'm a little late on this one; 8 hours of work, then 90 minutes of grocery shopping with the wife... what fun...

Anyway, Is this a good move for Jenson, probably not; his best chance of retaining the WDC would be at Mercedes GP in my opinion. As brought up earlier in the thread, it depends on whether McLaren can provide a neutral car that can be set up for both Jenson and Lewis' driving styles. Is Jenson better than Lewis; I don't think so; Lewis has more raw talent but Jenson will probably have the upper hand if he can implement his smooth driving style with a neutral car. But if Jenson has a car that is a handful expect him to be a fair few places behind Lewis as Lewis does have the ability to wring a cars necks to get the best out of it as proven this year. I believe moving to McLaren was the wrong move but I hope to be proven wrong; I believe he was chasing the money despite was Nick Fry and Martin Whitmarsh have said!

"Lewis likes a rear end that moves around a lot - he uses the rapid change of direction that provides to pitch him quickly into the corner and get him pointing in the right direction for the exit as soon as possible.

:yikes: I never knew that!
Did you get this straight from the horse's mouth or from Nicole (which is pretty much the same anyway :horse: )?:whip:

wohoooo team GB

So now we have Team GB. McLaren = British team and 2 British drivers.

Team Deutschland. Mercedes is Deutsch and its 2 likely drivers will be German. Rosberg and Heidfeld?

And lastly Team Latino. Ferrari is Italian which is Latin and its drivers Alonso (Spain) and Massa (Brazil) all Latins.

So in 2010 we will have the all GB vs the all Deutsch vs the all Latin rivalry.

Viva Latina and if Ferrari cant win it will be of course Deutschland über alles because usually everything German is great.

No it is not. NEIN. Formula 1 is all about Ferrari. Ferrari has the most success and all the political power. Just look at how powerful FOTA was (Oh hang on, that is just a farse, I should say Ferrari contolling everyone) to tell the FIA under Mosley who really makes the rules. And now look who the new FIA president is. I wonder wo had an input in that election. Ferrari - Todt....... Ferrari is all that matters in F1. Ferrari is Italian. The greatest driver to ever driver in F1 is Michael Schumacher. He is German. Like Schumacher, all things German are generally good. Even so called British supercars are useless without Germans. The McLaren F1 road car is powered by a GERMAN BMW engine and McLaren race cars have been powered by GERMAN Mercedes engines for over a decade now. In the mid 80s they were powered by sacred GERMAN Porsche. In reality Italy and Germany are the winning countries in F1. Britain is just a farse. Take away Italian Ferrari and all the Germans and no one will care about F1 anymore. Might as well then call it Formula Britain.

Kimi is taking a year off. Rosberg isnt all of a sudden gona take his dad's nationality. Why would he? He would rather be German. It is like me all of a sudden taking my dad's nationality. I don't think so. Go Mercedes GP and TEAM DEUTSCHLAND.

Dont take it the wrong way. Just because I like Italian, German, Croatian and even Japanese stuff it doesn't make me an Axis Biatch. This is 2009 remember. And I also like Spain, they were neutral back then anyway.
