The above just about sums up my feelings about yet another delay; hasn't this game been in development since the PS3 was released?

Since before that.

Think about it though, the PD team know how to make a racing game and they probably know more about the PS3 hardware than anyone else so what could they do in over 5 years? I'm pretty sure there's going to be something(s) about this game that'll make it stand out from all other racing games and it's not just the graphics or car models.

I'm sure the game will be amazing; that I have no doubt but it's frustrating for the people that have waiting all this time only to be disappointed again! I believe that the real reason for the delay is to wait for the v3.50 firmware which will eliminate the "Jailbreak" software which allows for pirated games to be played on the console. I have no doubt that you'll have to upgrade to the v3.50 firmware before being able to play the game.

What I find most interesting is the fan design of the RB X1 which was outlawed in F1 many years ago, I remember it being used for one race and immediately banned after it wiped the floor with the opposition, nothing much has changed in F1 really has it? Except it takes a little longer to get things banned these days!

I don't believe Porsche have ever been in the GT franchise, the closest to Porsche is RUF!
