I wonder if / how Piquet is punished.

Afterall, he is the one who crashed the car, so he had as much knowledge of the incident as Briatore and Symonds.

Have you not been reading the case at all.By giving evidene he is immune.

I know, I know.

Just doesn't make sense to me.

So does Nico Rosberg recieve a win to his tally???

He'll probably feel like the moral victor (and, come on, without those ridiculous safety car rules he would have been) anyway, but no results will be changed from last year.

The FIA should be fined and banned for not being able to issue fair punishments to teams.

 I'll back that one!!!!

Flabio banned for life? That's a bit harsh.
I think he should have been allowed to continue to be involved in F1.

But only after a punitive penectomy was performed on him. :whip:

I do find it a bit odd that there is no financial penalty, no points loss, no actual team punishment at all. Sure, they lost Flav and his side kick, but it would seem to me that the team should have taken at least some sort of hit. The FIA strikes again....with complete inconsistency. The teams should have bailed when they had the chance.

Thats :bs: Nico deserves a victory.

FIA are weak! Should have fined Renaukt 3x the amount McLaren were fined

how so? he was only in the position to win because of Piquets crash. Hamilton was the only guy on the podium that would have been there had Piquet not crashed.

I gather they have to give an undisclosed amout to the safety fund and pay the cost of the investigation but I agree, it still seems a very light financial punishment.

i think peoples jobs will still be affected for this @ their headquarters. Cant pay staff if they are not racing. also im saddened a lil about it because i was hopping to see alot of cars on grid next year but with a few teams pulling out and renault not being there next year, its gonna be like the same amount of cars again.

It's only a suspended ban, they're still racing.
