There's nothing wrong with the first two - he makes some very valid points that I agree with. The third one...he shouldn't be threatening to un-do this deal because of things that Luca and FOTA said. However, Luca and FOTA should not have said those things in the first place. Their remarks were also quite childish and I think they would have been wise not to have made them. Bunch of klutzes! They spend months trying to get things their way and then they do something like that >.<

I'm assuming that in the second letter he's talking about Ferrari... He's like a child telling tales. "Little Johnny picked his nose, miss..."

read the actual letters this pathetic excuse for a man sent out. he acts like a child.

I see in the three pdf documents Max sent, the phone and fax numbers of FIA are listed. We should all start faxing the FIA about our concerns of the mental stability of Spanky Mosley. And maybe is is time for FOTA to start Break-Away Series II if Max is not removed immediately.

Why don't FOTA and di Montizemolo just retract their comments and apologise to Mosley? That would solve the problem and we can move on with racing. It seems that certain people within FOTA are simply trying to destroy Mosley's reputation completely rather than wanting peace in F1. Agreement has been found; all sides should shut the f*ck up!

I agree completely. In the letter Mosley said they agreed not to speak negatively of each other. Teams should have issued their own gag order. No F'n gloating until he is gone. Media freeze on the subject. "We've come to an agreement with Max and the FIA. It is now behind us and we will look forward to the 2010 championship." And thats it!!!!!

There is the other side of that though. Sure, Mosely is being cast in a negative light, but that is because he spent so much time posturing and calling the teams loonies etc. How anyone could think there would not be even the slightest amount of gloating when Max LOST (yes, he did...the cap is gone, though he swore it would never be so)...is beyond me. Max spent a lot of the last month poking fun at and very publicly insulting the teams....the sick bar steward deserves whatever embarrassment is doled out by the teams. He damn well should resign and disappear. Nobody respects him after all the hollow threats and missed deadlines anyway

Bill I want him gone too, and to be fair I relished in the stories and the gloating by FOTA. However, if I thought ahead, which the teams should always be doing, I would have said, "Do not give this fool any ammunition" We all know Max has the ability to find a way... however small. If he is one thing, he is resilliant and relentless if he gets his mind stuck on something. I will dance in the streets when he is gone, but he is not yet, so I am not gonna underestimate that SOB. I hope the rest of the members in the FIA see thru this BS!

I hate that the row will just not go away and die..

It's been six of one, half dozen of the other in the whole affair, both sides have been taking cheap shots at each other in the press. Why on Earth are both sides still sniping at each other when a resolution has been found? All FOTA had to do was release the same statement as the FIA and Mosley would be happy, the teams would be happy and all this talk about possibly standing for re-election wouldn't be happening! But no; di Montizemolo and co wanted to get the last snipe in... pathetic childish behaviour!
:banghead:

Or maybe Max really did promise all that FOTA said, and once it hit the press he throws this fit trying to make the teams look bad. Gee...has he done that before? Yup. You can't believe a word out of that sick pricks mouth.

I believe that is unlikely, I don't believe that Max would agree to be stripped of power effective immediately and no-one could force that, only a vote of no confidence by the FIA senate would allow that and we know that didn't happen. I believe that certain people within FOTA have their own agenda...
#129386
And max has no agenda of his own?

Of course Max had his own agenda but he has achieved what F1 has needed for many years; to have a full grid for next season. How he went around it was a disgrace but FOTA's conduct was also as disgraceful. Releasing untrue statements doesn't achieve anything other than to try to discredit Mosley, it seems certain people are not happy with winning the battle. And now because of it here we are back to being in a state of flux while we exchange another round of insults!
