If its up for sale be nice if the teams bought it, not Bernie, but FOTA then whatever happens in the current sage Silverstone would be safe. If there is a breakaway and Bernie owns Silverstone that would not be good.

But there won't be a breakaway, so that won't matter.

Where's your source for that information?

Then you want to put

"i don't think there will be a break away"

rather than stating an opinon as fact.

Also helps to add reasons for it.

For example.

I don't think there will be a breakaway because ....

I personaly wouldn' write it off, especialy as it gets closer to 29th

Breakaways are not and have not ever been good for those involved. Nobody within F1 can really want a breakaway, it is not nearly as easy as some people seem to think. Setting up and running an international sport of such complexity takes a lot of time, money and effort. And even then there is no guarantee you would ever even approach the popularity of Formula 1. In fact, it's almost certain you would not. A breakaway series makes no sense, is not going to happen (Especially as FOTA and the FiA are now making progress towards an agreement). We have been over this several times.

Gonna need to examples to back up what your saying there when you refer to breakaways being unsucsefull.

And where have you read that when mosley is saying this

Mosley has also made it clear that if the rebel teams opt to set up a breakaway series, then the FIA would be happy to sanction it.

"Absolutely. We would have to do that, and we would do that. And if they did a breakaway, they could write their own rules and we would check them over for safety. And that would be it.

Did you not notice the US Single Seater Split cause a dramatic decline in the popularity of US Single Seater racing, ceding market share and money to NASCAR? Breakaways are not good for sport.

Mosley saying the FiA will sanction a sport is hardly indication of anything. The FiA Sanctions A1GP, which is sometimes thought of as a competitor to the FiA's own Formula 1. Sanctioning motorsports is one of the FiA's roles.

Nascar has always been more popular than Indy car and i don't follow US motorsports since its mostly oval racing.

Anyway Of course mosley talking of a breakaway is an indication it might happen it means its perhaps been brought up in the meeting or he belives its a possibility

Mosley believes painting green stripes on tyres is a good way to spread an environmental message, so I don't see much weight in what he believes.

i thought that was Bridgestone's idea as a way of showing it's 'support' for the FIA's 'make cars green' thing, without having to actually do anything green

They needed FiA approval for it. The morons apparently forgot the stripes were mostly for visibly distinguishing.
