20XX Forumula 1 Championship:

Kimi Raikonnen- Retires
Fernando Alonso- Moves to Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton- Renault
Bruno Senna- Mclaren

But LH and Senna at Mclaren would be MINT

i think they would respect each other and push each other along.

I like rubens but given the performace of the Brawn i'm GUTTED Senna isn't there.

Well I am not so sure about LH and BSenna at Mclaren....

Speaking of Brawn and BSenna, I do think Ross Brawn just wants to decrease the amount of uncertainty with the new team.
So he doesn't have to risk with a new driver that takes time to learn the field and the tracks.
This could also be easier for Ross to control the progress of the Brawn team I suppose...

But stay put though, I do think it won't be long until BrawnGP injects itself with some new blood

Right, I attemted to make this post last night before I went to bed but my internet wasn't having it, so here goes..

Hamilton can't let something like this make him leave McLaren and F1, the best drivers have gone through tougher times than this. Senna was made to look stupid when the FIA and Balestre hung him out to dry before the 1990 season after Senna's criticism about Balestre over Suzuka the previous year and he almost didn't get his superlicence for the 1990 season.

And if Hamilton left F1, where is he going to go? He would probably cream the entire IRL field (and then try and have an affair with Danica), NAStyCAR would be a gigantic step backwards, Touring Cars wouldn't be a bad idea. But at the same time, he would start to regret leaving F1. Personally if I was him and he just left McLaren, I'd use up the millions to start up my own team, especially now costs are being drastically cut. But I wouldn't leave McLaren anyway.

Music Career? Chat Show host?

I'd agree with what you say about Senna. I thought Hamilton was Senna Mark Two  but yes, I guess the media pressure is alot tougher now, and well Lewis has a habit of listening to other people than thinking for himself so his judgements are often rash.

Yeh but Lewis was a little younger when he started in F1 and he's been with Mclaren since he was very young so based on that theres prob alot more pressure on him and the fact the media is harsher now and the British Media is 100 time worse

Lewis can go! The way I am feeling at the moment with Lewis and Mclaren, yes he can go!

Nick ? :wavey:

Nick would be good. I could also see an ironic situation where Sutil got the drive if Lewis left mid-season.

Sutil, I think, will have no chance in the McLaren. He was rather unimpressive last year and hasn't made a huge impression so far this year.

Surely if such a situation happened, De La Rosa would take the seat?

Correct.

At the same time you have to ask, would Heidfeld really leave BMW for Mclaren? He's at a team where he is driving very well, and is comfortable in it seems. Ok, he isn't in a title winning car at this moment in time, but neither is the Mclaren.

Probably not. I think he was quite upset when Raikkonen was chosen over him. But it's always possible, I guess.

You'd think so, but when has logic been involved in F1?
