Toto Wolf thinks it would be a disaster if Lewis had a car failure in the race on Sunday.
:director:You're dead right it would be Toto! So make sure it doesn't happen!! and stop talking about, he'll always have another chance next year!!:rolleyes:

Speaking of puppies, you can shove their nose in it it but what's the point after a few hours. You can pretend you didn't say it all you want, and even when your nose is rubbed in it, it's not what you said or what you meant or, the excuses go on and on. Have some dignity man!

Say what exactly? If cookie got it wrong and he's smarter than you what makes you think you're going to do any better? Read it from the beginning, and see how cookie gets it wrong. If you can't see that, that's not my problem.

Get ready to support Vettel in red! He'll bounce back, don't worry. This year is just a fluke. But don't worry Roth, everyone is invited to the celebrations this weekend.

...You've already exceeded credentials for membership in the mia scuderia lounge with those double standards and no recollection of what you said (or a fantastic ability to deny) outside of the last 72 hours.

It's been duly noted that you are not a fan of having the Lounge on this forum.
However, there doesn't seem to be a valid point to your referral of the Lounge,
in this discussion, other than to be insult/criticize other members on this forum.

You are correct, my sincerest apologies to the lounge, the reference to the membership with double standards and short memories is not absolute and may have nothing to do with it, perhaps simply be an anomaly.

I missed the start of the Drivers Presser on Sky TV this morning, but the part I saw was worth watching IMO.
NicoR said he hoped Lewis helped him, by making another mistake like he did at the last race (team mistake imo). Lewis alluded to the dirty deed at Spa...I don't think he mentioned the cheating at Monaco.
A question asked from the 'floor' ....(accent similar to Niki Lauda)...went on & on & on...it was directed to Seb V....who nearly kept his face straight, when he replied "can you repeat the question?" The question was related to driving being different than it was 30 years ago, re all buttons etc on steering wheel. Nico R said 'though we have to keep it simple for the fans,' .... he repeated this.....
Nando & Jens had a lot to say...
Don't know if Nico H. said anything,... but I was thinking back to 2012 Brazil GP, he took out LH (Lap 55 from the lead) this was Lewis' last GP for McLaren. Last year Bottas took his wheel off... on Lewis' car at Brazil...lap 48?. So I'm glad the last race this year, isn't at Brazil.....
I digress...........

Programme is being repeated at 6.45pm
Drivers present...Lewis, Nico H, Nico R, Seb, Nando, Jens.

I've not seen it all but I believe it's on YouTube. The highlight has to be Buttons face when Risberg says Lewis has to keep it clean. :hehe:

A few snippets from first practice.

The Williams are in trouble. They've got issues with the floor of the car. Bottas won't run again this session and probably Massa too.

Mags is testing the new wing for McLaren. I don't know if anything can be read into that. If they're happy with it I think they said it would go on both cars tomorrow.

Mario Ilien is in the Red Bull pit. Apparantly he's going to help Renault sort the engine out.

Lewis fastest, a couple of tenths ( .133 actually) from Nico. In the absence of the Williams, Alonso is third, but 1.7 sec back :yikes: Raik is a further second back in twelfth.

Wow that's incredible. More so because Alonso (who is 3rd in FP1 a lot) is usually a lot closer to the Mercedes in FP1 before falling back as the weekend goes on. I think this pretty much confirms that, barring a crash or unreliability it is Hamilton's title even if he finishes 2nd!

Even in normal circumstances Hamilton has nothing to worry from the Williams. When has Williams actually troubled the Mercs in race pace, ever? Even in Austria they were a pain at the start but succumbed quickly.

Lewis' biggest and only threat is his own car, nothing else.

Oh...and :drink:
