So WB....... and men in general......I'm intrigued. Which picture of Danica do you find the more provocative?

Not surprised. And, that's why I asked about the acceptance level, if it were a wife, girlfriend, daughter, sister splayed out like that.

But Sagi the photo you object to she's on her back. In a vulnerable submissive position. The position you might sleep in, or sunbathe in. The photos you like she's giving guys the 'come on' .:shrug:

I know she's only acting/ modelling. But it's what given out in the photo we're discussing.

Come on guys. Which photo is the most provocative?

Glad you asked rc.

If I were walking past a car and saw this woman """"splayed""" out like this:

Image

I'd be like "Wow she's hot but damn what a poser....I mean I don't deserve this kinda c0cktease" which eventually leads to me just walking past the car.

However if I were at a freakin BEACH and saw this:

Image

I'm definitely thinking "Ok she wants the D"

Or this:

Image

I'd go "Looks like she wants the D PLUS she's trying to hint her fav position right now"

Conversely, if I saw this:

I'm walking away as fast as possible since I don't want a black eye for no goddamn reason.

Yes, do tell...

Is it the "in-your-face" sexuality or the "intriguing" femininity that allures?
I'm betting it all depends on the mood and/or woman in question.

Exactly!! She is a woman, with a talent that allows her to compete against men, on an equal footing;
yet, she puts herself in a position seeming to be a submissive, weaker, and objectified female.

If she were in a negligee', on a bed, sure... it would be a position to sleep in...
If she were on the beach, under the sun, sure... it would be a position to relax under...

But, she's not... she's on a car, splayed out, in a submissive, weaker, "here I am, open for business" position...
In the photos I've posted, she is assertive and on an equal footing with the men who are looking at her.

I agree with Sagi*, she should bloody show more respect to the sisterhood. How very dare she.

(*Ok, I don't agree. I think her reasoning makes no sense and seems contradictory in places. But I personally think it's a language barrier half the time - Italian decent, living in a French speaking country, with an English head of state, and who often get confused with Americans by the rest of the world - it's all got to be rather confusing. Plus add in the fact she is someone from a generation not used to communicating via the medium of modern technology, then it's bound to end in these confusing discussions.)

Sagi when you first disagreed with Danica modelling you said this............

Hate to disagree with you RC; but, "using her s.e.x." to sell herself is fundamentally flawed
and deleterious to young women, in general.

If she's a good driver, that's what should do her talking for her. Not her gender.

Now you're saying it's ok if she models........in a bikini....so long as the pose is tasteful to you. You find it tasteful if she models provocatively but not if she is in a submissive or vulnerable position. This isn't real....she's modelling! She's adopting the pose her photographer/ artistic designer tells her to.
She doesn't need to only ever pose assertively to be on an equal footing with men. She IS on an equal footing. Who do you think is being exploited here? Who is laughing all the way to the bank with a multimillion sponsorship deal?

Guys I have only just caught up on this thread, I think what Sagi is trying to say is that she understands the glamour modelling bit, but is saying that some of Danica's photos look a bit slutty. I suppose it is up to everyone opinion on where that line is.

Personally I do not think a close up of a badly packed kebab is not too slutty, but it is all down to what everyone thinks is acceptable.

Do you get it now??

I dunno, I see an attractive, scantily clad woman with a big helmet in her hands, intimately close to her lady places.

That's pretty fruity in my book.

Exactly! I personally have no objection to any of her pics that have been posted. And if anyone has issues with girls modelling per se then fair enough. I just don't get this arbitrary qualification on what passes and what doesn't.

The stated aim of the Taliban was to create a "secure environment where the chasteness and dignity of women may once again be sacrosanct,"[1] reportedly based on Pashtunwali beliefs about living in purdah.[2]

Afghan women were forced to wear the burqa at all times in public, because, according to one Taliban spokesman, "the face of a woman is a source of corruption" for men not related to them.[3] In a systematic segregation sometimes referred to as gender apartheid, women were not allowed to work, they were not allowed to be educated after the age of eight, and until then were permitted only to study the Qur'an.

Women seeking an education were forced to attend underground schools, where they and their teachers risked execution if caught.[4][5] They were not allowed to be treated by male doctors unless accompanied by a male chaperone, which led to illnesses remaining untreated. They faced public flogging and execution for violations of the Taliban's laws.[6][7]

Why stop at introducing a limit on the type of poses Danica is allowed? Why not go the whole hog
