Lowe moved, Lewis moved; really, who cares why?

I do. And obviously others do, with their own theories why. So what's with the pointless question?

Hey easy on the Kilts cookin my mums from Scotland :P

Pretty stoked Ron's back in charge, I'm thinking Ross the boss to be TP!

my daughters grandma on her mums side is from Ireland, and thats actually where tartan and kilts come from in the first place so no worries from me

Re: Kilts - that's one theory, but it's certainly never been proven, and won't ever be, there's equally evidence that kilts could have originated with the Romans, Scandinavians or other potential central European areas.

Re: Tartan - That's almost certainly not true, the vast bulk of the evidence suggests that Tartan originated in central Europe.

Re: Ron Dennis - like him or loathe him, he's a character that's good for F1, and someone who knows how to win races and championships. I hope he takes a real hands-on role with the F1 team! :)

Re kilts and tartan, you cannot argue against both coming to Scotland directly from Ireland. Maybe in first place is wrong term, maybe in the previous case better, anyway the point is that Ireland has a greater claim in both than Scotland. Bagpipes?

I didn't...

The cause of both of them moving is, ultimately, to enhance their careers, as is the reason everyone moves job; so I don't get why theres completely needless arguing over this...

Never would have guessed! :D The point of all the arguments is their reasoning of why they think these moves would enhance their careers. It's a bit more of a micro-outlook.

I misunderstood the full extent of Ron's new role, he's basically head of the board but could he be thinking of a new TP? If so, Brawn is definitely in the frame...but is that how RD would do things? Come back in and bring someone who was a huge rival to help him lead the team? Very hard to see it that way but who knows....since he's having a lot of time taken up with the MTC and super car projects the best quick-fix solution would be giving Brawn a call.

Very interesting times ahead.

If I was Ron, I would get a young hungry guy in, like Eric Boiller and manage him closely. Failing that promote someone in the team now and still make all the major decisions himself.
With a guy like Ron involved the TP doesnt have to be a proven TP, he can be an energetic 'trainee' doing all the work at Rons more withdrawn commands

A bit like Domenically at Ferrari. Almost anyone plus Ron is way better than keeping the 3 ducks.

I thought Ross whole problems with Mercedes was that he was not in complete control. I can not imagine Ron would give Ross complete control (I always imagined Ron to be a micro manager)

I hope Ross doesn't go there, too much of a threat to Mercedes because he's damn good , and I think letting him go was a big mistake for Mercedes.........though I still think they're set up to do well this year. I'm so intrigued as to what Ron will do! I concur with others that the gang of inept three will go, if not all in one fell swoop, over the next year.....but what will follow?.......It's juicy.... It's exciting...far more so than the recent pantomime performance we've witnessed.

Showtime Sagi58, take your time do it right

You obviously have more time than I do!! :P

LONG story short, your statistics are true, no doubt about it.
That is NOT what my point is!! My point is that the statistics
you presented are not "scientifically" rounded in that you don't
take into consideration a cross-section of the F1 audience.
Twitter is geared towards a certain segment and that segment,
is not necessarily representative of all F1 fans.

Clearer now? :D

Especially the segment that is not comprised of TWITS.
