I thought it was a legal requirement (in the UK) that all employees undertake fire and first aid training.

I have never had formal fire training or first aid training on the job, I did a separate first aid course which was paid for by my employer, but not everyone had to do the course, it was voluntary!

I agree! Was thinking that looks pretty cool there, maybe Williams should think about it for 2013. :hehe:

That is a nice gesture, though Williams may decline on the wheelguns and fuel fillers. ( Sorry couldnt resist).
It is good to see the teams all helping in a crisis. All helping with the fire, even that SKY camerman in there. I really hope this dosn hinder Williams at Monaco, that would be a cruel twist after last weekends success.

@Jamesallenonf1: #f1 Nice gesture: McLaren's ex Williams guys, P Lowe, N Oatley and S Michael have offered to loan any pit equipment they need for Monaco

I wish Sam Michael could just go back to Williams already. Or just get out of Mclaren.

Yeah. I was hoping he'd sort out some of McLaren's 'issues' but he seems to have created more, or at least intensified the ones already there.

Contributed to one of the most high profile downfalls of a once multiple World Championship team where they became one of the worst performing teams in F1, and then joins another high profile team and then they suddenly look out of sorts like never before. Might be paranoia, but I can't help it. :hehe:

There is no correlation between these two images so the fireball seen could not have been very near Senna's car, also the fact that the cables are clearly not damaged says that it couldn't have been intense heat near the car otherwise we'd see a lot of melted bits and those tethers would likely have been destroyed the hoses would certainly have been destroyed.

I'd be interested to see any final fire inspectors report.

We discussed this last year... his role was described as basically being chief of the non racing or support goings on in the pits. Don't know how much impact that can have.

I bet that sky camera man will blow that picture up and hang it on his wall :)
