I dont get mnmracers point

I figured as much, seeing as to you can't seem to come up with anything when a point is rebuted.

We get your point, you think Senna isnt worthy of noshing Vettels sausage, nobody cares.

It's kind of sad, how in your eyes, people think Vettel is either a worthless driver or the new Senna.

Any driver that can drive F1 cars, can be dominant in a dominant car. Any of them.

Like Damon Hill in 1993? Oh wait...
Or Jacques Villeneuve, who needed until the last race to win the championship in 1997? Oh wait...
There are very few cars so dominant any driver can dominate in it.

Dominating is consistently finishing ahead aswell as the margin in which you finish ahead...
Lets look back at pre-Monza, Webbers had a terrible year, terrible, where is he in the standings, second.

Second, with a dominating margin of 10 points. Wow, such domination...

F1 is all about small, small margins. So when Webber was qualifying .4 ahead of Alonsos Ferrari and Hamiltons Mclaren, thats dominating.

So Hamilton was dominating Webber when qualified 0.4 seconds ahead of Webber in Spa, or do the facts only matter when they support your point?

When your finishing ahead consisntely, and with little trouble, you are dominating, point one.

Point me in the direction of the last time a driver lost the championship despite being in the top car, note top car also means it doesnt break down all the time.

Yes, Vettel is dominating.
Webber is not dominating.
Conclusion, it's not all down to the car.

Thank you for making the point that 'the greats' like Fangio, Senna, Prost and Schumacher also need a top car to win, and your attempts to belittle Vettel's achievements because he has a fast car are rediculous.

Just because someone argues a point you make doesnt make then a detractor of those you are trying to bolster opinion of.

Thats where youve gone wrong, also, if your going to post what you posted, in a bloody forum, some people are going to disagree, i disagreed, ill admit i was unneccesarily catty with my remarks but i disagreed and it spiralled from there.

I just dont agree with you, the drivers are so good in F1 that the car means far too much nowadays.

What i dont like is fans of his hijacking the success hes had, dismissing all feelings of modesty and humbleness, not to mention objectivity, and making outrageously absurd claims about his talent, totally ignoring the rocket ship hes driving, totally ignoring the teammate he has, totally ignoring his number one status, totally ignoring the serious bad luck thats blighted other teams, totally ignoring how webber was a match for him easily in 2010.

Thats not trying to belittle Vettel, thats trying to ground his fans back to Earth, i think hes up there with ALonso and Hamilton, i am dying to see him as a teammate with one of them because i think the party might just get called off.

My apologies, in the heat of the moment I mixed up the discussion with you with the one with bud.
That just stopped making any sense and kind spiralled out of control.

That I agree on, but I do believe a top driver (Alonso, Hamilton, Vettel, pre-2010 Schumacher) can still clearly show they are top of the crop, as I believe plenty of situations show. Like I said, Hill didn't beat Senna in '93, Barichello only came runner-up twice, and Webber's not all over the others either.

But ok, let's agree to disagree then

I guess we dislike the same, but from an opposite viewpoint. I very much dislike (anti-)fans looking for any possible excuse to belittle any great driver, though even you need to admit that that usually makes you end up defending Vettel. Even with all the slack Hamilton is getting now, he is still considered (one of) the best; rightfully so, but it's a huge difference in approach.

Thats not trying to belittle Vettel, thats trying to ground his fans back to Earth, i think hes up there with ALonso and Hamilton, i am dying to see him as a teammate with one of them because i think the party might just get called off.

I can totally agree that I'm dying to see them match up; I see another Senna/Prost era in the making.

Yeah ive seen nothing but thundery rain for the past two weeks in singapore.

Be interesting to see a wet signapore, although i reckon after ballsily overtaking everyone Hamilton will still push too hard at just the wrong corner and crash lol.
