Webber on pole, brilliant. Should be a very interesting start with Vettel possibly without KERS, and Hamilton with a big flat spot. Brilliant from Alonso, Massa is just way off the pace of Alonso, sadly. Good drive from Petrov, Schumacher saves a set.

Back of the grid looks interesting too, would love to see Barrichello and Heidfeld charging through tomorrow!

Will be a very interesting Spanish Grand Prix, for the first time in a while :P

Vettel certainly had problems with KERS, the times reveal it! Webber forgot how to smile... :hehe:
I think Alonso has a great chance to be on podium again, Hamilton has that terrible flat spot again. His mistake, again.

Well, I doubt Vettel's KERS issues will disappear overnight, that plus Vettel being on the dirty side I have a feeling Hamilton will get past down to turn 1. I really don't rate Webber at all so I can't see him winning.

I think Webber will enter the first corner as 3rd.

Nah, he'll be first. Vettel will be at a disadvantage, but I doubt Webber has a problem with KERS too. Pointless speculation right now though haha, should be a great race tomorrow, though I'll only be seeing it on Monday afternoon for me :(

Well, Webber has poor starts this season. He is on the clean side, but, that helps only a bit. We'll see. I think also that tomorrow's race will be MAAAD! :D

youd save yourself a ton of trouble if you started crying about it once hamiltons beaten vettel to turn 1
and webber wins the race.

Finally. Been waiting for Webber to get round to this for a good while. All he needs is a good run like he had last year to even things out between him and Vettel, then they can have a good fight towards the end of the year. >.>

Two things really impressed me about qualifying today. First, Maldonado. He was starting to look out of his depth, but that was a solid performance today, maybe now that he's racing on tracks he's familiar with he'll be able to focus more on driving the car than learning the circuits. Lotus were also very impressive, especially Heikki. I can see them doing even better in Monaco, personally. This upgrade package could work out quite well. :D

Disappointed that two of my favourites went out in Q1 though. :(

Well Red Bull seem crushingly dominant this weekend, there's a large gap to the McLarens, and a further gap to the rest. I think Ferrari have made questionable tyre decisions, and could be compromised in the race.

Great to see Webber on pole finally! I hope he puts one over on Vettel if McLaren aren't able to challenge.

Well done to Maldonado, good to see him up there. And to see Kovalainen beat the Force Indias, although that was tyres really.

The sport has managed to take one of its best aspects, qualifying and turn it into a borefest. :banghead: It's absolutely pointless and it's become all about tire management instead of racing.

Congratulations to Ferrari, they've finally been able to join McLaren for the title of alsorans and they've made a tremendous jump int their qualifying trim. Red Bull have themselves a very dominant car and it's looking very much like a double double for them.
