Yes a 'no we're out' or yes a 'no we're in?'

No means no to independence, i.e., stay with mother goose England.

You should of seen the "does LOT bring a lot of cash to caterham" conversation I had with someone.

It went along the lines of

Does Lot bring a lot or not a lot of money or a lot or not a lot of talent?

clear as mud to me  still wouldn't know if yes meant yes or no, or what it meant yes or no to.
I do know that our northern countrymen have decided against divorce. So they either voted yes to stay married or yes to get divorced, and the former won.

Really RC you know the answer was No. You just don't know what the question was. The question was "Should Scotland become independent of the UK?"

Are you trying to be difficult or is it a talent? :P

Don't think of the answer RC, think of the question and the YES or NO answer will be self evident.

Do you want to stop drinking wine?

Do you want Scotland to leave the UK?

Yes thinking of the question makes it clearer. But then in a day or so I'm thinking was the question , 'do you want to stay in?' Or was the question ' do you want to get out?' I forget which it is and have to look it up.
It's definitely a talent DD. I Can't do double negatives. It does my head in.

But I bet a fair few Scots were the same and voted for the one they didn't want by mistake.

So your problem is remembering things in general, not just the yes/no vote.

No I'm pretty good at remembering things normally. It's just funny wording I forget. Wording where the meaning changes with just one little word.

The question was 'do you want Scotland to be an independent country?' Not much room for confusion, perhaps particularly so when looking from a Scottish perspective.

No, if I had the question written before me I'd be fine. If I didnt I'd forget if I was saying yes to being an independent country or yes to staying a not independent country. It's just me. Weird on this.
