I'm still waiting for an answer to this simple question. How does Lewis appear not able to "sell stuff" when he is regarded "2014 most marketable sportsman" .

How does a reputable entity come to this conclusion when OBQuiet itself thinks Lewis "does not sell stuff". IS there a missing link somewhere? "Most marketable" /= sell stuff? Is it a language problem on my end? Or is the guy who actually muttered that having some sort of mental collapse?

The context as per Hammers post above is about Hamilton being "2014 most marketable sportsman". That includes all sports not just F1 as you seem to be misconstruing the topic to be. I had limited the endorsement comparison it to racing examples, if we were compare Hamilton's endorsements to all sports then he really is small potatoes in annual endorsement value. He may be marketable but just isn't being marketed. Maybe that is why he parted ways with his celebrity management company?

I do encourage you to get with the program and really try harder this season to focus and concentrate on your postings and to try and get over your Alonso-phobic issues.

So according to the two F1 yardsticks,
one says Lewis is highly MARKETABLE but isnt MARKETED as highly as Alonso, Rossi and Danica
one says Lewis is MARKETED above Alonso, Rossi, Danica and thats subtly different from being highly MARKETABLE

Ans the second highest on the most MARKETED list - Wayne Rooney - we already pointed out only makes a bit more than Lewis on personal endorsements, but is a long way behind in total income
