So, what happens when I try to organize my life?

It was my "little" brother's birthday today and, since we don't do birthday gifts,
I picked up "Quick Pick" lottery tickets for him. Sounds like a good idea, eh?
Except that I don't normally play lottery tickets (although I do belong to a group
where someone else buys them). So I wouldn't forget, I bought them on Friday.
The draw was last night (Saturday).

I realized that if the tickets didn't win, he would tease me about buying them
for myself and giving them "dud" tickets. So, I ended up buying a new batch,
for next week.

Yes, I did check the tickets to see if they'd won anything. No, they didn't.
Mind you, if they had, I'd probably have kept the winnings and bought him
a new batch for next week anyway!!

Or you could dress Nicholas Cage up as a cop, and your brother could dress up as a waitress in a dinner lol

That could never happen to you, in real life, eh?

((p.s. I didn't watch that movie, so your first hint went over my head!! :banghead: ))

Today I finish my first week of my new full time job....after almost 2 years of being unemployed/studying. :yikes:

Feels good to be earning again, especially since I get to work from home. Bit lonely at times though, office politics (I hated them mostly) do have their good and bad sides.

Trade Advisory. Working for a swiss firm where I advise clients when to buy/sell handpicked stocks/indices and tracking their performance over short/medium/long term. It's why I was in Switzerland for almost two months, training with this company.

How many jobs wouldn't exist if people were smart. :hehe:

You enjoying it so far?

Well I always had a Plan A, B and C. A would be an F1 driver, B to have a job which I'm comfortable in and something I'd do in non working hours since it interests me, C to have a job which I plain hate and do it just for the money.

This is B. So it's not too bad, since I was doing something very similar with forex with a few partners from quite some time before but getting paid a lot less. :hehe:
