The weakness of mind went away on Sunday. So there doesn't seem to be much in the way of lasting effects. And you used the word we're as in we are all. I wasn't.

Yeah, it only seems to be a saturday thing. And I apologise if you felt included in my generalisations. It really wasn't my intention to lump you in with 'that lot'.

Nobody likes 'that lot' of Lewis fans! :whip::twisted::hehe:

Because I imagine there were a few of you when it happened thought, Roth might be onto something but I'll never admit it.

Me and at least one other already said you were on to something about Lewis' quali. It's just that you were barking up the wrong tree. I delivered a lengthy case concluding that it was down to trying to use tricks in q3 to counter Nicos. I presented the evidence that backs this up. On the other hand your claim that it was a mental weakness didn't and still doesn't stack up at all. If anything the last weekend strengthens the case for q3 trick attempts gone awry.

Put it this way if you were trying to get a guy sectioned and committed to a funny farm, what would the judge say if your evidence of insanity was this 'your honour, mr x kept his iPod on during the practice for the operation and was playing really strange music and singing to himself - this shows he is mad. What was that? Yes your honour I admit he then completed a 12 hour brain transplant operation the next day, but I still say he has lost his mind'

Do you think the judge would commit mr x the surgeon on this evidence?

The only massive advantage the drivers have had this season was Lewis' in KL, he destroyed Nico there and looked like he could have turned it up even more as he did the the end of the race setting the fastest lap by 0.9.

He also destroyed him in Bahrain before the safety car came out and even then managed to hold him off even though Rosberg was on fresh much faster tyres...

He also destroyed him in China where he again wasn't challenged just like he wasn't challenged at Malaysia (other than a minor challenge into turn 1, lap 1)

He hung onto the win at Spain too which is a track he's never been good at.

Then you look at the tracks that Rosberg won / beat Hamilton in, Australia Hamilton won in qualli but car broke before the race had even started, Monaco he sat with Rosberg right on his backside until he got debris in his eye, Canada, Hamilton made a mistake and Rosberg got pole but straight away Hamilton was stuck on the backside of Rosberg up until the breaks gave up, Austria starting from P9 after two questionable mistakes in qualifying either way he made a mistake and had to go from P9 to P4 on the first lap then both him and Rosberg made their ways past the Williams cars and at the end of the race Hamilton was only under 2 seconds behind his teammate (1.1 on the previous lap).

Then at Silverstone Hamilton messed up quallifying with a judgement error, nothing to do with his driving and had to fight his way to the front but regardless of Rosbergs gearbox giving up Hamilton had Silverstone sealed as soon as he switched to the Hard compound tyre but even when they were both on the same compound Hamilton was on average comfortably faster than his teammate

I think Rosberg could have given Lewis a run in China if things had gone smoothly for him. His fastest lap was also pretty fast but he was chasing after Alonso at the time.

...and that's Crufts.

I love your ultra-realistic scenarios. They put everything in perspective.

lol racechick........we will fight them anywhere they want......all day, every day.....

Anyway the way things are looking, I think Lewis will be ahead before the summer break.

Then we have Spa (which is on my birthday), so of course Lewis will reign supreme. :D
Monza is all about power. Lewis again is the man imo.

Singapore is a tough race, but I think by then Lewis will have clean air between himself and Nico.................

(I hate non race weekends. I have to find other diversions........ :drink: )

True but Hamilton was too far up the road to really know, no point trying to get fast laps in or pushing, just cruise and get the car home I'm sure if Rosberg got closer he would have pushed

I think you'll find Kimi's track, im sure he will bolt some sort of special turbo into himself, dominate the weekend win then slip down behind Alonso again ;)

In Kimi's 3 Spa races for Ferrari he won 2 and led for 40 laps of the other one (until some precipitation spoiled it...) :)

Was that the one in which the king of Spa was robbed of a win by the stewards 8-)

Yup! That's the one.

Spa and Monza definitely should be easy wins for Mercedes with Williams coming in third and fourth unless of course the ban on fric messes s*** up

Nope, because Kimi is the king of Spa - he was robbed by the rain ;)

Hamilton can hardly be the king of Spa by winning there once, even Vettel has won more times...

Until recently the same could be said for Silverstone. :D

How does a driver get robbed by rain? it would be like getting robbed by a lack of grip or a lack of car control or by a propensity to crash into walls or other people :hehe:

Kimi abdicated a long time ago

On the other hand the king of Spa was robbed by the stewards one time, robbed by his conniving team handing the win to his lame teammate the second time, absolutely smashed it the third time and aced it despite his car the other times

At Silverstone in 2008 the whole grid got robbed by rain except Lewis Hamilton. :hehe:
