We're not even at the business end of the season yet and Jenson is tripping. I would say it's still an honour to be Lewis' no.2 though. Welcome to your real role Jenson. :wavey:

:(:(:( I think your right :(:(:(

I tell you, there is no one luckier on the grid than Jenson Button this year. The Silverstone GP is proof of it.

^ How much of it was luck though? Surely just Alonso dropping back and Kubica retiring. Wasn't the rest fair pace from Jenson through working the harder tryres so well?

Cant help but laugh at Jenson's position (not in a bad way, and neither in a "fan" way). but...

A lot of people around him losing their heads I think, 1 position was through retirement and the other was for the questionable penalty handed out to Alonso.

Jenson had an excellent race today, there wasn't a great deal of luck involved. Alonso got that unfortunate penalty and Kubica retired, that's about it. It was a pretty great race for McLaren in general. I thought Jenson and Hamilton both did a wonderful job.

jenson can come anywhere he wants as long as it's behind lewis, it's working out great. Jenson is a good driver but is not in the same class as his team mate. Lewis is pulliing away in the points department but he still has to push harder, webber is his main threat imo.

Think bud's question should also apply to you. What you got against Jenson?

Jensons race credentials came to the fore today, an excellent drive. Much like Brazil, 14th to 5th, or the Hungary race 14th to 1st. Jenson is an experienced well rounded racing driver and today, as well as countless other results, cements this.

Lewis done an amazing job in Quali and thoroughly deserved second.

Webber is a genius and I'm ecstatic he beat Vettel by a huge margin!!!

Overall a wicked UK GP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the same could be said about lewis, what have people got against him. I have nothing against jenson i just think that the british media and the bbc are making him out to be something he is not. Certain media outlets would like nothing better that seeing jenson beat lewis but it's not working out that way.
The way eddie and jake make excuses when jenson fails to perform is a joke. Take this weekend when jenson came 14th and started moaning about the car yet lewis has the same car and performed when needed.

Jenson is second in the wdc through chance not pure driving skills.

I've absolutely nothing against Lewis, thank-you. However results will speak for themselves come the end of the season and at present Jenson and Lewis both have two wins under there belt and their's 13 points between them. I call that close. All it would take is a DNF from either driver for the other to really pull out a meaningful gap, so at present, it's all to play for for both drivers, excellent stuff.

Did i say you had something against Lewis? nope i can't recall me saying that, thank-you.

Yes, it's all to play for without a doubt and yes the end of the season will show who comes out on top, it could be one of five drivers in my opinion but i really can't see Button winning it, that's my take on it but we shall see. :yikes:
