I don't know what it is about the french language or accent...but I'd never buy a french car, and if it's a french guy selling me a french car I'd be turning away in 5 seconds. Don't get me wrong...I love many things french (food for instance....women) but a CAR.....when I see a french car I see a french sandwich. I'd be afraid if it'd fall apart when I'm driving it out of the showroom.

Short rant...and I'm sorry it's out of topic.

On topic...I wish Pirelli does a (much) better job next year.

Really . I ADORE accents! And French is right up there! Italian slightly higher. I could be talked Into bed with the right accent. I watched that film last night. 'Unfaithful' with Richard Gere, seen it before. oh that young French guy she has the affair with!! Accent, looks, passion, romance. :cloud9:

EDIT oops. Pirelli thread, sorry!

When I hear French language always sounds like they are talking about surrendering or retreating or collaborating for some reason

When I read the title, my first reaction was "Oh, good, they're going to lay off the staff who have lost their marbles"!
Alas, I was wrong!!

staff wrote:">ImagePirelli determined to reduce marbles

Pirelli says it will try to reduce the marbles produced by its tyres in the 2014 Formula 1 season following suggestions from drivers.

Go figure, the drivers had to tell Pirelli they should lose their marbles!! :D

Lotus, Sauber, Williams, Marussia and Caterham have all opted to miss the test.
The test in Bahrain. Wonder why?

Could be to do with the fact each of those teams has been said to be running out of money/going bankrupt/merging with another

They cant afford extra testing, which shows the more testing the more the gap grows between front and back

Considering McLaren have opted out, are we to assume they can't afford testing, either?

Williams cited time constraints, as did FI who have now pulled out. So perhaps that's why

In a highly competitive arena like F1, time always equates to money. So simply put not having time means not having enough resources

If some of the top teams can make it, then the ones who cant dont have the same resources

How about American accents? Specifically a perceptible New York City area influence?

How long does it take to box a car up all the stuff for the garage, sort hotels out, make travel arrangements. Organise a way to get the cargo to the destination that for most of the teams is half way around the world.

Dosent Bernie normally transport all the stuff to races?

What I am trying to point out is the logistical problems of getting everything to go in 4 days
