Would Massa really be considered Number 1 over Fernando Alonso?

Wouldn't of thought so ,I suppose they would say we have equal number 1 drivers?.

I think its more a case of them having named one driver (Massa) before naming Alonso, therefore Massa is no.1.

This will no doubt have no effect on next season's preferences.

I am not 100% sure of this but I don't believe that driver numbers are related to finishing position of the previous season, the world champion gets #1 and his team-mate #2. Each team is allocated two number according to the teams finishing position from the previous season and the team decides who gets what number.

I like Rosberg too, but I'd rather see him go to Brawn and be given an equal shot.
