Lewis Hamilton polarises fans like no other before him. Emotions aroused by him go from pure hatred to complete adulation. In the following article the author is looking at why this is the case. What is it specifically about Lewis Hamilton? This is a two part article, the rest is published tomorrow. Today he looks at

1) Lewis The Black Man in a Historically White Sport and

2) Lewis the celebrity.

Tomorrow he takes two different aspects.
A very good read! It's on thejudge13 's site but not written by him. He allows guest authors, fans, to write.

When you do, would you please post the link?
((Just as a reminder, for me, that it's out! ))

And here is part two.

http://thejudge13.com/2014/08/17/voice- ... nt-page-1/

The aspects today are
1) Lewis and 'the Lord'
2) Lewis the driver born at the Will of a corporation

For me religion is the one I struggle with. I won't comment here because I've commented on the article and you can read it there, third comment down I think.

Ah! You beat me to it Sagi!

I think your comment on the judge article is spot on RC.

I also don't think Lewis is that outwardly religious.

Senna was and more recently Ruben was. Tbh until you mentioned it a while ago I did not even know he went to church every Sunday.

Very good reply indeed RC

Just goes to show how important it is to educate people as most of the opinions about Lewis out there dont stand up once facts and evidence are introduced. Once educated though most intelligent people take it on board and drop the 'hysteria' and the ones who will never drop it never seem to actually present any case in the first place just muddled and 'passionate' objections in random hit and run manner

pretty ridiculous to refer to religion as a 'fad' for a pious person  even funnier to say someone who grows up somewhere must have the same relationship with religion as all his neighbours, lets forget about the influence of his family and heritage and expect him to fit your high standard of 'mythical pro sportsman':rofl::rofl:

I think the rest of the season is gonna be a blast watching some f1 fans run out of vaseline :hooli-popcorn:

Good interview. On the topic of the season I still think Lewis can win the title, Nico is going to run into trouble sometime. Not going to be easy with the data sharing that goes on in Mercedes.

goddamn that data sharing!!, I hate it!

the most overlooked eventuality ever

We have seen Lewis deal with it, even the most ardent 'overlooker of facts and history' surely does not really think Nico will recover as strongly especially as the novelty of contention becomes a factor as the end approaches

Anyone who looks back over the last few seasons will know that behaviour, incidents etc are never missing in the final stretch of a season
