It is for making non instant coffee. The manual ones have a plunger on the top that filters the coffee granules out of the liquid.

You mean like a traditional French coffee press or Bodum? Drinking a coffee made that way right now in fact. I thought maybe it was that Scots vacuum thingy. :coffee:

I went skiing. It is March Break, so the place is a ZOO. All the stupids in Toronto have moved north and invaded the resort for the week. Already they have bought up all the whole wheat bread in town, and parking is at a premium. :thumbdown:
