Got my first smartphone today. I know...I'm like 5 years late, but whatever. Sweet phone, I can see now how it's made society almost extinct.

BB z10. If you recall but I was bleating about this phone since 2 months back. Anyway for the features and build quality, it's a steal...got it for USD250 with casing and mobile bank included. This is practically an obsolete model and I managed to find a store which still had the black version in stock.

Atm I can't get over the predictive text swipes.

i would struggle to go back to a non smart phone now. i very rarely text or call people anymore lol

I get it, I made the switch primarily because of my environment. Everyone's asking for whatsapps and what not....and I'm like "uh what about my number" and they just look at me funny. The usual greeting I get from my social circles is no longer "hello" but "got a smartphone yet". It was high time for a switch.

I'm actually still stunned how Blackberry can afford to be a major F1 sponsor when they are in the situation they are in.

Yeah when I tell anyone about one of my reasons for choosing BB, they're nearly always like "BB sponsors in F1??? ".
