But yes, let's get back on topic... this is just a point by the original poster to show that these post season rankings are worthless and everyone is going to have a varying position. The only ranking that counts was won this year by Red Bull and Vettel. How's that, back on topic?

Aye, these lists are opinion, but we still like discussing them. The WDC winner has achieved the most in the end, but the "best driver" is more about who out drove the car the most. Who performed the best taking away the advantage/disadvantage of the car and team they were in.

I don't believe f1 teams should have equal cars.

What I'm saying is basically this, the goal is to reach 10. Person A starts on 1 and reaches 7, person B starts on 5 and reaches 10. Person B has got the bigger achievement at the end, but whose performance warrants greater merit?

What would you have us do? ban everyone that voiced their dislike for Hamilton or Alonso? Actually that'd be brilliant, then I could put my feet up and relax! It's an internet forum, we can't censor everything; that would defeat the object of having an open forum, this is not a BBC 606 debate forum which is over-zealously moderated!

Now back on topic or this thread will go the same way as the Alonso voted #1 thread!

Well if were not so ignorant to bringup what my state allows, as if yours is so much greater, I would not have to bringup OUR Constitutional rights . "Hello armed robber before you **** and pillage my home and family can I call 911 first?"

i received a ban for trying to calm the peace, makes no sense. This isnt opinion, this is spiteful internet arguing and ganging up over different views, you dont need permanent or bans in any form, just a locking of threads when they go out of control, do it for every tgread and people will soon learn they wont have anywhere to poibtlessly argue and realise they will only have a forum if tgey can use it how its meant to.

that everything you post, say, and use as evidence is geared with the purpose of annoying other forumners in regards to their driver/team preference, thats my opinion, your not the only one and what driver team you support is irrelevant to me, as i look at f1 with my eyes not goggles, be cosy if others did too.

Im a mod and Ive never banned anyone, edited their posts and/or pm'd them yes, but thats just my style. To be honest the tripe written on her by some people who cannot give a rational argement is not even worth replying to, never mind moding!!
