Oh, I don't know if I would call it pouting.....more like open air, over the radio, bitching like a spoiled brat. I believe he has done it twice this season already. When he wins, or at least beats Jenson he is all smiles and loving the team. When he doesn't......not so much.

Oh Wow another thread about McLaren turns into a Hamilton bash thread. Who would have thought on this forum?

hehe Maybe calling him a venomous snake or calling bitching what he says over the radio is bashing. But i'm sure that is just for "colorful writing"... not meant to be taken over seriously. The rest is not bashing. Its facts.

Yes, Lewis' behaviour is somewhat to be desired this season... I understand passion but if you have something to say to the team, say it in private after the race!

Bollacks mate, your apparently a racing driver, your in the middle of a race your engineers tell you to effectivly stop racing your gonna be upset.

Emotions run high when your fighting for position.

If you want spoilt brat see Vettle moan to horner horner asking how he's supposed to overtake, and then when nurning a broken car home asking if he can get fastest lap.

And Before that blaming Webber for a accident thats clearly vettles fault.

So basically, you are saying that because Vettle has acted like a young, immature spoiled brat...that it effectively proves that Hamilton has not? I'm afraid your logic might be a little flawed. It just isn't cool for a driver to come on the radio, when you know the entire world is listening, and bitch your team out for a strategy mistake. The entire staff of SPEED are admitted Hamilton fanatics and they even called it a stupid thing to do, as did reporters all over the planet. But now since you have decided that it's 'bollacks mate', should everyone else on the planet change their minds? Nah.

Sure, he was upset because he wasn't winning...and he voiced that displeasure over the air by dressing down his team. And guess what....wait for it....that is not the professional thing to do. It's not. Even if you say it is. It still isn't. You are wrong. Nothing new there. It was wrong of Vettle and it is wrong of Hamilton. They are professionals...they should act that way. Their team puts millions into getting their car as near the front as they can, but so does other teams and sometimes....a strategy just misses the mark. You don't piss and moan about it as a driver. The driver is being paid millions to do what he is doing. The cost of defeat isn't his to bear....he still gets paid. So man up and quit crying.

Sometimes I need to check with Wiki to keep current of all the excuses that are offered/given for Lewis/Mclaren and why his/their situation differs from every other team. .

You are just a Hamilton hater. Clearly he acted like a twit on the radio because his team made him do it. He didn't have a choice. He's the victim here! Have some damn compassion. :cryfloods:

Oh the horror....the humanity....

We can all sit on our armchairs and say oh it was stupid that he said it but we've all said somthing we've regretted in the heat of the moment.

When LH hit the radio button i doubt he was thinking the whole worlds gonna hear this, he was prob just fueming after loosing 2nd place.

The Diffrence between Vettle and Lewis in this situation is Lewis said somthing in the heat of the moment.

Wheras Vettle after the race and after viewing he replys still thinks hes in the right after driving into his team mate on a straight road.

I'm certainly not defending Vettel, and I've said in here a few times now that he was completely at fault for the incident. But you can't slam Vettel and then claim Hamilton is holy. Hamilton has said plenty of bad things when not in the heat of the moment. Monkeys at the back, lying to the stewards, etc, etc... Both Hamilton and Vettel seem to trend towards childishness in my opinion. I will say this, Hamilton appears to be growing now that he is out from under daddy's umbrella. I believe someone has his ear who is helping him outgrow his mistake prone driving style and his running off at the mouth like he has in the past.

As for him not knowing radio transmissions are broadcast....do you really believe what you said is remotely possible? Hamilton isn't a rookie anymore. He knew and he shouldn't have done it. McLaren haters all over the world laughed out loud when that radio call came over the radio. The announcers wondered aloud what he was thinking to send something like that. The second time it happened, the announcers said he needed to be sat down and spoken to about it...which I'm sure happened.

It seems that all radio transmissions are broadcast openly and recorded but only certain transmissions get on air play. I think the media had a lot to do with actually choosing that particular radio transmission to broadcast.

same old nonsence here i see

Alonso gets ridiculed, nobody bats an eyelid

but somebody says something slightly negative about Hamilton and those same people previously bitching about Alonso are shouting 'hater'

how pathetic
