All of us Pommie wimps is it? You're the one that brought up death or injury, up until that point the only thing that had been mentioned was how reckless the move was. While we're on the subject of throwing around derogatory comments based upon people's origin you as an Australian (a country born from the criminals of others) perhaps you shouldn't go there.

well i would take insult into that stereotype of Australians but firstly my mother wasborn in glasgow secondly my fathers side doesnt have a drop of convict blood as they were immigrants a few gens ago from germany and scotland. but mostly my state never was a convict settlement. besides i think those bread theives and petty criminals of mother england and their descendents got the better end of the deal id say ;)

lets ban all drivers from making mistakes, if they spin off pushing too hard could endanger the crowd, lets ban drivers for trying to make a pass in a sport where passing is nearly impossible on most tracks
lets ban TRYING

FFS go whinge about the cricket or something

That's bloody true actually! Something else us Brits can blame on the government!

I'm not saying that Drivers shouldn't try, or to penalise them for every mistake. I'm saying that other drivers have been penalised for less, so yet again the FIA and it's (independent) stewards are showing inconsistencies when that isn't supposed to happen now they have the one guy at every meeting.

I do feel that a Driver should be penalised if his mistake ends (or seriously impedes) another Driver's race, so Felipe Massa at the start of last season (for example) made a mistake, but he didn't hit Alonso so that's fine, if he had hit Alonso, he should have been penalised. DC blatently ended AW's race so should be penalised (all in my opinion of course, I don't expect you to agree because you don't share my opinion).

The thing that's bugging me now is that DC has mentioned the possibility of a closed cockpit (in a few years) to avoid near misses like that in future, surely the easier option is to learn to f***ing drive?!

I hate cricket!

Yeah Alex should be more careful! He should have gone much faster in the last lap so DC wouldn't have been close enough to dive inside him!
