When Lewis came to the league, did people expect him to be that good? I didn't watch F1 then so closely and i have no clue what was going on before he joined. As far as i've heard about hulkenberg, he is a very good driver but not alonso/lewis type

I usually don't like sportsmen who are so hyped by the media (If someone watched NBA, then LeBron is the case) but Lewis is just a hardcore and true racer, who competes with his heart so I respect him.

But let's not turn that topic into a Lewis thread because some of us might get a heart attack because of it

Based on previous form in GP2, I'd say not. Hulkenburg had just one retirement last year in GP2, and even then it wasn't he fault. Someone rear-end him at La Source.

I can't wait to see what Hulkenburg does. He's come through the ranks just the same the way Lewis did. Both did 2 years of F3 euroseries, becoming champion in their 2nd years, and both went on to win GP2 first time around. I watched him race, and one thing he was actually really good was tyre management. I'd say he'll top Barrichello.
