hated being forced to play it at school, probs worst [or 2nd worswt] there, give me a pool, and a pair of shorts, and goggles, i wouldve showed everyone up! or rowing, meh,but no, always frickin football!

hate it, bad memories!

i have the same memorys lol showed everyone up at the cross country run tho.

I play 5 a side occasionaly with a team from work i'm rubbish but its better than just going for a run exercise wise a little more exciting.

yeah always in defense, my crappy legs also hinder ball kicking,

i dont mind you have to things you hate every now and again, but why ALWAYS football, hockey, swimming, gym, tennis, rugby, anything like that, i was far far better at those, rugby sevens, wish we got to play more!!

Where do footballers learn to dive? Do they have special drama classes after practice? I cringe whenever I see someone drop to the floor when no one even touched them or holding their head when the ball struck their shoulder  They're such cheats, I'd be ashamed to take a dive not to mention humiliated at being such a wuss.

And the worst part about being a fan is that if you don't "get 100% behind the team", fail to turn up to a match (which I did plenty of when Bryan "Captain Yawn" Robson was in charge) or have a different opinion, you get moaned at and rejected by your "fellow fans".

I'm just glad I walked away from it all, but really I should have done that on May 13th 2007.

Yeah its pretty disgusting, but the same can be said for cheating in any sport really

Most sports are nowhere near as bad as football. We get a bit of cheating in F1 on occasion but that's usually the aggressive kind, not falling over and pretending you're hurt.

Yeh there's a least 1 game a weekend where it happens and its not punished harshly enough and too easy to get away with.

Melbourne... :hehe:

Yeh and motorsport is far more dangrous.

When was the last time a footballer died from a accident?

When was the last time you saw a Footballer rushed to intensive car.

When was the last time you saw a footballer feint from dehydration after a match.

Footballers have it easy, F1 even now is a really tough sport.

You have failed there sorry.
Top point yes

Not long ago.

Not long ago.

Dunno.

Yes.

Marc Vivien Foe, Nigerian I think used to play for Man City, died not too many years ago, swalled his tongue playing for his country.
Many other guys have swallowed tongues.
Petr Cech, got his head crushed.

But I am with you 100% footballers are puffs and F1 is much more dnagerous and a better sport.

Noo i haven't failed because the question was MOTORSPORT or FOOTBALL.

not F1 and Soccer.

how the f*** do you swallow your tongue anyway.

Yes Motorsport is much more better I agree, THIS IS COMING FROM AN AVID FOOTBALLER.
Ran 4 miles tonight and as soon as we arrived at the destination we played football.
But Motorsport is better, I agree
And "how do you swallow your tongue", sorry mate but you know very little if you didnt know you could do that.

ugh i know you could do it, but seriously you could do it by just falling over in the street.

Yeah but more likely playing football, and it was just a potential danger I was pointing out.

There have been cases of footballers dying on pitch after suffering cardiac arrests but really these things can happen in any sport. There's no inherent danger that is unique to football, unlike motorsport.

Yeah i mean its just that there's proberly more footballers than Drivers.

so statistics like that go up simply because there's more people invovled.

I prefer motorsport to football by a massive, massive margin but i'm still pretty big on football. :)

Obviously having a discussion on this topic here is gonna be all one-way but i will say this just to offer a different perspective: Football clearly isn't as potentially deadly as flinging huge bits of metal around a track but it would be stupid to dismiss football as completely danger-free... just ask Petr Cech for example. Also, at least football doesn't have such a prominent amount of political BS constantly following it around. Diving is bollocks though, it's people like Ronaldo, Robben and Drogba who basically ruin the majorities' reputation, not all footballers play like that.
