& taking Webber out in the process. So lets say if you are building a sand castle and i kick it down is that fair no. Exacly the same as what Rubbens did.

A very smoooooth drive, i was impressed that he didn't make any mistakes (on camera atleast) when under pressure from vettel and kubica. He's in a great position for the future...

Also, fingers crossed lewismania doesn't morths into buttonmania. Speaking of lewis mania, the beeb actually acknowledges other drivers than lewis, unlike itv last year...

Yeah, I'm loving the multi-focused coverage. Much better.

Pity for Kubica and Vettel... Little Sebastian seems to be on the right path of becoming new MS attitude-wise (you don't over take me... ever!) but I still like him. For now. Kubica, well, he hardly did best possible job in that overtake attempt... guess they both got deserved.

I like how you can come to that conclusion from one overtaking maneuver. Also, he was on the racing line... What else was he meant to do, move over onto the grass? Not that I'm saying it was just Kubica's fault.
Sorry.. don't meant to come over all moody and defensive. I'm still so annoyed about this lol.

It is not conclusion, more like impression. Likely wrong, but we'll see.

Kubica was bullish in this overtake, but then again we have seen bullish overtaking (or defending) from Lewis, Massa... others... last year, and years before. They usually ended happily as other driver would slow down or cut to the grass. I think that would be smart thing to do from Vettel, being slower and having very sloppy turn thus loosing his momentum.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying that Kubica is unique in his approach, and I don't blame him for trying at all, it was just the way he tried. Vettel had the line, Kubica wasn't yet passed him... SV probably should have braked, but Kubica defiantly shouldn't have turned into him. Like I keep saying, RK could have waited and got past cleanly in another corner.
Vettel was boxed in. If he had braked, the collision would have been worse. Kubica was 100% responsible. Trust me, I've been there. You simply can't make that type of move on the apex. It was suicide!

Unfortunately for Vettel, FIA does not agree with you two. Guess they like bullish overtaking. Maybe they are finding them commercial..?

I don't think anyone was supposed to be punished, but I still think Vettel should (and could) let Kubica go. When you have your opponent half a car in front of you, and see him cutting you off, you basically have 2 options:

    - You let him through, even if you have to cut to the grass, and live to finish 3rd or maybe even get your position back down the track.
    - You don't let him through and you finish your race without points (and get fat penalty in this case).

In choosing second option, Vettel reminded me of MS (being also German helps a bit in creating such impression). That is all I'm saying. Responsibility wise, I'd say they are equally responsible, unfortunately FIA doesn't agree so we'll have one great driver pretty much out of competition for the next race.
