I don't get some people's attitudes today about 30 being the "dreaded age". They seem to make out that as soon as you hit 30 you should be in a Home, have a pension and one of those over 50+ plans.

Jacques Laffite was never too old, he was still quite competitive in his 40's before he broke his legs in the startline crash at Brands Hatch in 1986. And Mansell won his last race at the age of 41 as well. I know F1 has changed a bit since the 80's and 90's but Schumacher wasn't exactly "getting worse" when he retired.

The question is what condition Ferrari will be in come 2011? Team seems to be fading a bit. Reliability is a big issue now imho. Didn't Brawn cars look a lot like Schumacher era Ferrari? Perfect strategy, performance, reliable and all over the rules. Loved Ross yelling at Rubens to slow down because of pace car! lol

Michael Schumacher was never too old and he did a fantastic job in F1 so don't right him off to quickly! The only person to make a come back and fail is J.Villeneuve!! Alonso will fit snugly into Ferrari and would do us very proud I believe, depending on the over all situation of F1 if there is even a point in carrying on? But to be honest I believe Vettel would also be a perfect candidate for the role of Ferrari driver numero 2.
