Did Kubica just have a bad start or does the heavier Ferrari have that much more torque? Surely their gearing can't be that much different. Ferrari had loads more acceleration then BMW.

As far as the Alonso/Hamilton incident I wouldn't be surprised at all if Alonso took the risk of damage to his rear wing at chances of outing Hamilton. In a strange way thats why I like him so much :D

I'd say it wasn't Kubica's best start, and that it was one of Massa's better starts. So a great start from Massa.
I really wanted Kubica to hold off Raikkonen, but I'm not complaining, it was a good race in my veiw. Massa deserved the win, but last week was definetly in his mind. But it was great to see the 2 ferrari's swapping fastest times. I say number 1 drivers should be banned permantly, it makes racing more fun.

BMW didn't win today, but they did prove one thing, they are ready to take this fight till the last race. Honestly, they finished 3 secs behind ferrari and have been faster than McLaren in both Malaysia and Bahrain. They lead the constructors championship now, and whats to say they won't keep a similiar posistion to the near end.

Judging by today, I'd say one BMW driver will deffinetly finish in the top 4.

Also, could kovy beat on Hamiliton for the rest of the season. Hes beat him in the last 2 races, and would be ahead of Lewis right now if it wasn't for Australia. I think this season could go anyway right now.

Massa has the chance to take the fight to Kimi, and both Kovy and Lewis seem to have an equal shot at the title, and Judging by both BMW's form, they don't have a bad chance either.
So far BMW have one key factor the other 2 teams don't, consistancy, and that alone could allow both their drivers to take a shot at the WDC, despite not winning as many races.

Its early days yet, but this is going to be one interesting season

Re. RK's start: he stated himself in the press conference that he had some serious wheel spinning - that's why.

Re. LH running into FA: you're a sick puppy!
FA is a calculating mofo, sure. But he wouldn't risk his race, life or future contract in such a non-situation. Telemetry data already rubbished such rumors.

One thing I'll say, BMW were faster than Ferrari overall and McL in Qualifying trim in Oz, faster than McLaren overall in Malaysia and close to Ferrari overall and faster than Ferrari on qualifying pace and McLaren overall in Bahrain. A race will come where they are faster than both overall.

As much as I like Brundle I hope he apologises if proved wrong at Barcelona, even if it's subtly put in during the race. That was a hell of an accusation to make against Alonso.

I was really angry with Brundle today, he kept saying he needed to see a replay, but wasn't very impartial about it.

fa is a hunted animal by the media in england, glad this thing has been put to rest quickly!

Yep. British media sucks.

It may suck but if its instrumental in ousting Max Im all for it!!

YEAH CAMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Massa dominates the Bahrain GP and Kimi is second. Ferrari 1 and 2, the best thing that can happen in a F1 race. Would be great if it can happen ALL THE TIME. And a bonus to this GREAT result is that LEWIS HAMILTON GOT ZERO POINTS, A WELL DESERVED ZERO POINTS. Now it is time to rejoice and celebrate the this anihalation and victorious moment for Ferrari to McLaren. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FERRARI JE NAJBOLJE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Geez, can you gloat any more? DD

Short resume from my side:

Massa is proving what I already said about him - driver capable of brilliant moments, but with lack of consistence - and that is a must for championship material. He'll always be great runner-up, but champion? I doubt.

Kimi, on the other hand, has brilliance an consistence. I see him as biggest candidate for this year's championship.

Lewis had his screw-up weekend; hopefully he's not going to repeat it too often, otherwise he might end up in the same bucket with Massa. I said last year too much pressure is put on that boy... and I still say the same. RD is just not handling him properly. Just NOT.

I am expecting some great stuff from Heiki, and I'm hoping team will not hold him down.

BMW is GREAT. Keep on.

AKR should grow up... eventually.

Um, look, I like Ferrari and dislike McLaren too, but jeez...

Same here. I grow tired of this. It's why I have more respect for fans of teams that aren't McLaren and Ferrari (in general, not all of them). I really hope BMW beat both of them in the WCC this year. They're a nice team, with nice fans.

You know, you do have a point there.

I agree, it is way way over the top

Well I am so happy that I am allowed to act like this.

Allowed by whom? Your shrink?
