Nikon133 nice lecture, but true I guess.

I was immature back then but I still did achieve that feet without getting killed or killing anyone else but no excuse I guess. By the way the motorway from Zagreb to Split is new. About 5 or so years old so you can get a good drive on it. Its a lot better than the motorways in Southern Italy! Back to that Croatian motorway there are parts that are not finished (So you have to slow down) but 95 % is done. Also when I achived my stunt it was late at night so not much traffic, would of been hard if there were cars everywhere to drive that fast in those conditions.

And just one more thing and this one I take very serious. Please do not refer to my country or me as Jugo or Jugoslavia as I take offense to it. I know you didn't mean it or it may be out of habit but please don't to it. My parents ran from ex Jugoslavia when I was one years old to Italy (This is why I grew up in Italy and lived there and am also an Italian citizen and Slovenian as well) but I dislike that name and being called that.

Sorry you may find it silly but its how I feel and this is serious. It is not just Ferrari crapping on about bullsh!t stuff so please don't.

Like Ewan said, testing can be misleading, but Nakajima could well be a dark horse this year, he's been very quick in the FW29B as well as the new FW30. Nico may be the number 1 driver at Williams but Nakajima is more than just a "journeyman" going to teams on Toyota's behest. Could this be another ace Sir Frank has up his sleeve?

EwmanM, your Clash of the Titans picture. Ie Senna taking out Prost in the first corner of the 1990 Japanese GP. The beginnings of my hate McLaren relationship. If only that never happened and Ferrari/Prost won in 1990 like they should of, then when McLaren dominated in 1991 and Ferrari won nothing until 1999, then perhaps I would not of hated McLaren so much.:evil::evil:

Why don't you blame the FIA for trying to screw over Senna? Oh that's right, Ferrari couldn't, for the FIA are their sugar daddies. Getting titles an immoral fashion means nothing to the tifosi. They'll take them just the same whatever way they come.

So McLaren Fan let me ask you a question then. If McLaren were never excluded fron the 2007 Constructors Championship and therefore won, would this be legit and fairly won? It is a fact that McLaren had Ferrari data and cheated. So if they were not excluded and won would the victory still be moral for you and your beleved McLaren team knowing they cheated? Tell me would it or do you have double standards?

Yeah I dunno about Nakajima, he looked average most of the time in GP2, but I do feel the accident in the pit did mislead alot of us, he did an alrite job, was ok for his first weekend thrown in at the deep. I think he will be solid hopefully grow in confidence, but Williams look in really gd shape this year, maybe Rosberg's decision to stay will pay off in the end?

Toyota's future is also in doubt, could they exit f1 (which if they did would be bad for F1) could they plough money into Williams? After all they are proven winners.

As for that Senna/Prost incident...
I think, like the incident the year before, was amazing! I don't wanna comment on who was to blame, I'll stay out of that and keep my own views to myself. But it is such a great talking point of F1...
I mean all of those incidents over the years, Alonso last year, Schumacher's various moments, Senna, Mansell etc... they all might be terrible or unsporting... but they in some strange way good for the sport... gets people talking, gets people interested.

Read my previous posts on the spy scandal and you'll get your answer. In summary, there were a number of flaws and biases affecting the FIA's investigation into the Ferrari-McLaren case and the later McLaren-Renault case.

Lewis was absolute master of GP2, traction control was new to him last year.
This is just a very amaturish attempt at gamesmanship. Ferrari must be really worried about LH if this is the best they can do.

the gp2 car and an F1 car are two very different beasts. lewis' driving style is similar to Alonso's just less aggressive. They were both reliant on TC to stop them crashing into the sidewall but i think Lewis will cope without TC better than everyone on the grid.

I think Lewis is more aggressive if anything, on the way up his rivals in karting and the lower Formulas have pointed out his style is less smooth than some, but that he's very aggressive, always taking corners tightly and going for gaps when he sees them.

I think both McLaren drivers will be fine without traction control, the thing I'm worried about is the limitations they had on their car development for the coming season.

From what I see in testing so far, my feelings are up in the air about the new car. It's far too early to tell though and what we see in March will be vastly different than today.
Lewis isn't the only driver taking on an F1 car for the first time without TC. By the time the season starts, Lewis will hardly notice there ever was TC and so probably will most other drivers. That is until their first spin.

McLaren Fan I read your post and don't agree. They are bias and from a McLaren supporters point of you. McLaren Fan get over it. Ferrari won, McLaren cheated and was excluded as punishment. I didn't like when Juventus FC was stripped of 2 Serie A titles for its role in the Calciopoli scandal plus as a result one of those titles was given to rivals Inter-Milan (Inter-Milan I like just as much as I like McLaren and Liverpool FC just so you know). I am over that and have accepted and moved on. You should do the same McLaren Fan. First thing is first, get that McLaren Constructors winners 2007 and 1999 off your signiture as its simply just wrong and anyone who insists on something that is simply not true is truly mindless. Anyway I am sick of all this bickering. The season hasn't started yet and we are already arguing. Let us please stop.

I've debated that numerous times on this forum. Again, read all my past posts for the explanations. You claim to have read some, but have termed those biased as well, despite my attempts to examine the facts carefully and come up with an objective view. I suppose any more you may read pertaining to the 1999 and 2007 season will also be deemed erroneous and biased.

Ahem, you were the one who as soon as you registered to this forum sent me an abusive private message that criticised my chosen Formula One and football teams (for which I could probably have had you banned, but decided to laugh it off); then proceeded to rubbish the achievements of McLaren; and then insulted me personally by saying I was wrong, completely biased and blinkered in my outlook on Formula One. If there is anybody starting arguments on this forum, it's you! I'm sorry to say - again - that I feel this forum would be better without you. Either wise-up or clear off.

McLaren Fan I think if you and I met in real life we would be happly having a beer together in some nice Irish pub. I'm not such a bad person and neither are you. We both are just hardcore supporters of 2 rival teams. Here lets pretend we are now at the Irish pub. I will shout you the first round. :D

I don't think you're a bad person, I just think you're blind. I'm passionate about McLaren, but I can see the team's faults as well as its merits. Further, I haven't liked Ferrari's modus operandi since the early to mid 1980s, but repsect their standing in the sport. If you want to come over to Ireland, I'll happily buy you the first round, and a few more. When you're drunk I'll try and convert you over to McLaren. 8)

Well your probably right. I am blind. Not just about Ferrari but with a lot of my views ie political views. I guess its how I was bought up. "You are this and will like this and do not associate with them". That statement was more drummed into me regarding political affiliations rather than sport but you can probably see where I got my tifosa habits from. Sorry for all my bias and hatred towards McLaren. Hopefully when the 2008 season finally begins we can discuss things and learn from one an other.
