He's not smug he's proud. He has frequently said he expected nothing this year. but Lewis has outstripped expectation.

Again you confuse smug with proud. He wants you to believe they expect nothing. They expect everything and will do anything in anyway they can to get it.:twisted:

Don't think he has made any other errors, Sir Stirling Moss seems to agree with this.

Again some selective reading/quoting here. I have also read many others saying he has. Who is right :?::?:
I see & I believe. I read & hear & I question.

Developed by one team-PROVEN.

Minus all WCC Points, 100 Mil fine. Yeh that proves it alright.

"The only reason is because he is in the best car??" You obviously didnt watch him last year then. Yes there are some good rookies but i doubt any of them could have done that good a job.

I don’t doubt it at all.

No im not. Schumacher was arrogant, very different quality.

Yeh your right. Hammys arrogance is done with a cunning & calculated execution , with a twit at the end & a big innocent baby face thrown in. :P
MS never had an attitude in his rookie year, not even in his first few WDC

No evidence for this. I thibk some weird sort of reverse psychology is coming into play here!

Look into my eye's :shock:ImageImage Look into my eye's :shock:ImageImage

Racechickybabe you warned me, I have been told, no more Hammy pictures due to racist complaints?
I am lost to see any racist tones in mine, but they are the rules.

The use of pictures on a forum for someone of Italian decent is just like the way we use our hands when talking to someone in person. How the hell am I going to get my message across with passion? Very unfair I say. :(:(

Itallian decent :D Ah the light dawns!!

Still think you're wrong on all the above but cant be botheed to go through it all-cant make the orange quotes go in little bits so it all gets jumbled up.

Just a couple of points. Didnt read Sir Stirling Moss's comments, he was on tele on a sports programme the other night-quite respect his views actually

The PROVEN bit-You think Ferrari and the FIA would have left MCLaren in for next year if there was any proof at all :!: Even the FIA have said there was nothing on the car. YOU KNOW THAT!!!!
I didnt complain about your pics, just told you what happenned when someone else posted same pic

Isn’t Nottinghham in the UK ? Isn’t mcLaren an English team ? So what’s your point ???, you have lost me  Oh how silly I know what you mean :?:roll::wink::lol:

Yeh I agree we have been over it many time & the only think we agree is that we have opposite opinions. But I am right

Yeh he’s Ok but it is selective quoting for your cause isn’t it. Don’t worry I do it too its only nature, but I like pointing it out to people who think I am as gullible as they are. (not including current company of coarse)

If McLaren have been so wronged then why not appeal. Don’t tell me it’s because of Ron’s integrity and he just wants it to end. He knows he got of light & it has also been said they were on the verge of being punished even more severely.

No the car is not a carbon copy of the Ferrari but there are things from all the emails/text messages etc that they have gained in some way on the track. Where talking about F1 here the pinnacle of engineering where every little piece of data is important & can help. Even 1 thousandth of a millisecond each lap can wins you the race.
So sorry I don’t agree racechickybabe

I have to take reference here guys with the lunatic who says he doesn't know why they are still giving Alonso a competitive car. What about the ethics involved with sport in general? What about the people who have paid lots of money to go and see the best sport in the world and millions who watch on T.V with excitement. McLaren are an English team with an English driver attempting to become the first world champion since the great Damon Hill who unlike Hamilton never resorted to catty comments.Hill always carried himself with an admirable dignity which "goody two shoes" Hamilton should be aspiring to be like. I have watched with pride as Alonso has ignored the intimidation and bully boy tactics from Lewis and Ron and their Motley Crew and has still been right in there with a fighting chance regarding the championship. However Ron has been exposed thanks to two STUPID men( Couglan and Stepney) for sinking to a level that even Michael Schumacher would look on with embarrasment with.Who does Hamilton think he's fooling with his transparent love for his team.I'm also told that there was a program filmed in Shanghai to cover Hamilton 's "crowning moment".I'll bet Alonso smiled when he heard that one eh!

Absolutely spot on mate. It saddens me a lot because I have been a staunch McLaren man through and through for years. It has been tough going in the last 10 years with Shumacher's domination, the pyschotic and overrated Montoya,Mika deciding the sport was too dangerous, the very average Coulthard and Kimi with his reliability problems. I was so proud at the start of the season with the flamboyant Alonso and the Rookie of the century Lewis Hamilton.I said to my friends this is our year big time, nothing can stop us now but the events that have unfolded have left me distraught and bewildered.Don't get me wrong when Ferrari were flying under Schuey the race was over in a matter of minutes, which left the sport looking extremely boring and if you really think about it " Spygate " aside , the exposure with the Alonso VS Hamilton battle McLaren got all through the season must have done wonders for the publicity they got.Sadly it leaves me at a crossroads now , do I try and sweep the behaviour of some of the Woking based team's personnel under the carpet or do I do the honourable thing and cheer for Fernando at Interlagos.Whatever the outcome it will make for one tense weekend

the pyschotic and overrated Montoya

Yeah but his unpredictability was great. He was a real character, even if he was a bit unhinged :D Shame like you say Mika left.

Cant get the sodding quotes to work the way you do so I will have to do it like this:-
POINT 1-Yes Nottingham is in England but I am not particularly a McLaren fan as I keep saying

POINT2 No. I am right

POINT3 I wont mention Ron's integrity because that is not why they did not appeal, They did not appeal because the lunatic fringe (mad Max) more or less sais if you appeal it will be worse, which would have meant being thrown out next year, Great system of justice isnt it
No the car is not a carbon copy of the Ferrari otherwise it would not be winning the constructors championship (Yes i know-convenient points loss  )
NOTHING was found on the car, they are too different and designed too far in advance. Max would dearly have loved to have found something but sadly..Zilch.
The emails were common pitlane chit chat (even Suspenders agrees with this :lol::lol: ) and they were going BOTH ways between Ferrari and McLaren. Note how touchy and abusive MAD MAX became when Sir Jackie Stewart pointed this out to everyone

POINT 4 The picture is excellent. Much improved on the original :D:D

Well after all that we agree totally with each other.

We agree to disagree

Except for one important thing. :?::?:

I AM RIGHT you just cannot get through to some people

I am really hoping for Lewis to get WDC but something smells funny to me. McLaren left Hamilton out way too long in China and we all saw the sad results, but what would have happened if they had left Alonso out until his tires were bald? I guarantee that the FIA would investigate McLaren for the apparent sabotage of Alonso's WDC bid.

Yes guys, I guess that Mclaren has wrapped the perfidious Alonso in a cotton wool blanket, nay, a blanket of cashmere, in an attempt to calm his troubled waters. Nevertheless, he still appears to be incontinent when bitching to the media. The Spaniards on this forum are not content to leave the outcome till the final race. Instead they feel it necessary to plaster petitions to the FIA all over the place calling for a ban on Hamilton.

What a sad spectacle they make of themselves! What a sad comment on the man they worship... the only hero they've had since 1099, when they sent the dead El Cid, strapped to his horse, to ward off the opposition while they cowered behind the city walls hoping the inevitable would not happen.

History repeats itself... inevitably.

Perhaps the last true "man" the Spanish can claim was cruelly used in death. Their present hero is nothing more than freebie in a box of Rice Krispies... lots of Crackle and Pop but a bit soggy on the finish.

Mikep99 - Your posts would be better if they weren't so sarcastic...

I do agree that Hamilton should have taken the pitlane a little easier, but having been off countless times on his in-lap, perhaps he just neglected the fact gravel was on the outside of that corner. McLaren made a tactical error, Hamilton over did it - although, to be fair to him, his tyres were completely shot and the pitlane entrance would have offered completely different track conditions compared with the rest of the circuit.
