Hi, I'm new here

I know its too early to come to any conclusion but I have mixed feelings so far.
The McLaren I was hoping would have more laps, The Sauber livery is awful!! and the Mercs, wow already they are depressing me

I did get a good laugh out of the RBR camouflage paint job. nice one, looks like a WW2 battleship

It is quite rare for one team to be so reliable straight out of the box. These are the most laps completed by a team on the opening day of testing:

2014: 31 laps
2013: 89 laps
2012: 105 laps
2011: 99 laps
2010: 102 laps
2009: 65 laps

I agree WB especially with the engine technology still being in it infancy

Merc seem to have traded some of their improved performance for reliability over last year. I guess it makes perfect sense, if the competitors are barely able to match Mercs last year performance despite spending their upgrades and also having the whole year to merrily develop their passionate hearts out, then Merc can start with last years performance plus bullet proof relaibility, still be ahead at the start, and then unleash the kracken after its steriod diet later in the year

But I need to see Lewis put in the same type of laps without his engine catching fire or spontaneously combusting or his brakes freezing solid due to freak weather conditions at turn 2 etc etc

And i need to start seeing Paddy as a Merc employee and not a disturbed refugee

Sadly I have to say no, I'm not really the fan of any particular team these days. There are several teams I dislike but none I love.

I agree Francois, it's not much fun showing blind passion for a team or logo etc when there are some real sporting Herod risking life and limb to drive the cars. So who is your fave current driver?

I just thought that as from memory Cevert drove mostly for Williams. (I have drank a lot of beer since then so maybe that is wrong)

Saw this picture on Twitter with the comment..that camo Red Bull car is really good, you can't even see the front wing.

In fact the lack of a front wing was due to an off by Kyvatt damaging the only wing RB have ready for the new car.

RB have been testing much of today without a front wing, they forgot to bring a spare one. Wow.

And it seems like Honda is having a very Renault2014-like winter. Can't say I'm too surprised....after all this hype.

I guess they only got as far as making one, and they want to continue collecting data so Kyvats running without one.
