Faulty electronics could have caused overheating, or it's just a cover. But with EBD still in vogue I think we will see more of these failures from others pushing the limits.

McLaren still trying to find the cause of the failure?

Hopefully the electronics glitch for Merc was just that, a glitch. If it's affecting the bodywork, there's some work to be done.

Yeah, thats whats being quoted from a number of sources in the Sky feed. But none of us ever know whats the truth. Its all smoke and mirrors.

McLaren still trying to find the cause of the failure?


I've just spoken to McLaren and they say they don't yet know precisely why Button's car stopped (which seems to rule out a fuel depletion test). They're hoping to let us know ASAP but I was told the MP4-28 would be in the garage for "some time".
