He did win in NON-winning car.

You talking about that "non winning" car that was essentially a RBR twin? The same one that Mark Webber got a 2nd and a 3rd place finish in that year?

I know you're Vettel fan number 1, but don't blind yourself to the fact that any driver that wants to win needs to feel that he's a got a car capable of winning. There's a different between a dominant car and a car capable of winning, and any driver worth his salt will simply ask for a car that's capable of winning, not demand a dominant car.

They are all after the title, it's as simple as that. I'm just saying that they could win even in a non winning car, like Torro Rosso was. Or, like Sauber this year. If it continued raining in Montreal, we could have even seen a possible Kobayashi win, or a second place finnish. That's the thing that splits the great drivers from the good drivers. You have to be lucky, but, if you're brave enough, luck will follow. Remember Senna's first win 1985. Button's first win in BAR Honda. Alonso's and Schumacher's first sucess. And they all are (were) champions.

?

they do so jokingly... VW's, sometimes the 911, and other times the BMW's at how ugly they are. But its true, many BMW are damn ugly. The 911 i dont know where Jeremy gets such hate....

The Mercs... well any complaint is weird, because Mercs have some of the best cars in the world.

But they do that with everything. To think they do it more often with German cars is just not true.

^^ Yes, I also remember Jarno Trulli's first win in Monaco. :hehe:

Now, that was really something special! :hehe:

The best Drivers get the best cars!!! Period... the MP4-26 is a car thats playing catch up to the rb7. the gap is getting closer and closer. Lewis will be back to form soon enough.
On another note I also remeber senna leaving Mclaren and going to williams and having a dismal time under adrian newey so that might not be a good idea for hamilton though I know he wants to follow in senna's footsteps!!! :banghead:

The Williams car sucked for senna because it was just after the ban on electronic aids. Soon after he died they had it straightened out again.

I'm not sure anything so drastic could hinder Red Bull until the 2013 regs. But then that goes for all teams equally.

That, but perhaps the fact that the RB7 can be a second a lap faster at will might also have a bit to do with the current difference :)

its not 1 sec faster. It has been, but its not always that much faster. during races its sometimes not even the fastest. Also, it hasnt been 1sec faster under Mark Webber, and last yr he was on it. Also, Vettel has had good pressure, and had dealt with it pretty well. He's not repeated any mistake he's made. The Canada off i really expected that one... you could tell he was feeling the pressure. But Jenson was coming onto him like a missile. Perhaps he should have told his team "ok, i dont want to know"......

On the other hand, Lewis has repeated the same mistake several times, and all to the same sort of interview later on: its either someone else's fault, the FIA are after him and he will not change anything about his driving; sometimes all of the above.

People will say I'm only a Lewis hater... but i dont care... I will not change my writing style ;)

:yes: You said it. You're a Lewis hater. Comes over loud and clear.

I haven't read the previous posts, however I've not liked Lewis' tone in the various press releases I'm reading.

I'm very much picking up an undertone of: "Unless you start catching Red Bull for real, I'm going to take advantage of a pissed off Mark Webber and sign with them."

For a team that gave him his chance in F1, and politically supported him over Alonso when they were driving together, he's not showing much loyalty.

I'm a Lewis Hamilton fan as a racing driver because he always gives 100% but this year he seems too caught up in the mystic of Ayrton Senna and I feel he is almost trying to race a ghost. I think, however, that is the media pushing it a bit on him with the Senna movie coming out. Lewis has made some impatient moves this season, but when you watch season reviews of Senna in his early Lotus days he made some brilliant moves but also some very reckless moves too that came from being impatient. Unfortunately for Lewis, the only one I feel he would listen to right now is Senna and that sadly can't happen. I hope however, that he doesn't cause too much disturbances with his relationship with McLaren until the British GP when the blown diffuser shows any sudden changes of pace. On the other hand, I would also love to see him at Red Bull in future years because look at the entertainers he attracts to F1 (Pharrell, Rhianna, Ice T, Nicole obviously). Lewis in a Red Bull camp would be a promotors dream as they know how to throw the best parties. I wouldn't be surprised if Bernie threw in a little word about his thoughts on a possible Hamilton/Red Bull switch.

There was no need to come out and say it, everyone knows it anyway.

even when Mclaren are not on top there is a dignity that they possess, a great British racing icon, perveyors of the legendary Silver Arrows.

What are you talking about? McLaren was founded by a Kiwi and they have nothing to do with the legendary Silver Arrows - that's Mercedes. Get your facts straight!

F1 is a business. If lewis hadnt delivered he would have been dropped.Simples.He wasnt kept for any other reason than his race winning potential. This is not a love in. He got supported over Alonso AFTER Alonso thretened the team before that, it was if anything stacked in Alonso's favour as he was the one expected to deliver.

I really hope Lewis stays at McLaren but as i said its a business...and that works both ways.
Look at the other top drivers. Alonso-changed teams . Jenson-changed teams a lot. Kimi-changed teams. Look at past drivers, Mansell, Ayrton etc. All changed teams.
Lewis actually hasnt changed teams, the media have speculated, so perhaps your criricism is premature at the least, its certainly naive.
