Well done Lewis, a race where real racing intelligence was required. Lots of variables, lots of risk, many decisions and yet Lewis plays it clever and produces exactly when required.

On a side note, im looking to get a Lewis canvas for my wall, any suggestions off you guys? (cue excuse to look at cool hi res pics of him in the sexy merc) id love one where its a bit dark (Night race, late practice or something)

Very significant result for Lewis in many ways

Fastest lap by a larger margin than Seb used to get
Convincing margin over his teammate who didnt have the kind of handicap Webber routinely had
Better tyre management than his teammate
Better fuel usage than his teammate
Lapped Mag at his old team McLaren as he went on to show that his own rookie year when he made no mistakes and finished on the podium in the first few races was truly unique
Almost lapped Button as well, but that will come soon enough

It's a good thing he's not as good at reading races, managing tires, managing fuel and having good race pace. Otherwise he might stand a chance of winning the championship this year.

So rare to see Lewis win a race where he hasnt had to fight tooth and nail, would be relaxing but i was so worried something was going to happen to ruin it and create a 50 point gap to Nico *phew* was brilliant to see all the parts of his game so many people dont give him the credit for.
