At the risk of being sanctioned for a ""circulatory"" argument, I really do not like being
made to look like a fool, just because I don't know as much as about F1 as most of our
members so, please, bear with me.

In light of the DIRECT comparison Ron Dennis made between Button and Senna,
I VERY clearly asked IF Ron Dennis had ever made a DIRECT comparison between
Hamilton and Senna, as I had googled it and couldn't find anything. My curiousity
was piqued. I am impressed with the wealth of knowledge and information that
Forumula members have, so I asked a VERY direct question: Had Ron Dennis ever
made a DIRECT comparison between the Hamilton and Senna.

I got all sorts of "round-about" answers; but, no DIRECT quote, which is what I had
initially asked for. NO, it does not matter that he never did; but, I was curious,
especially in light of the comments about Ron Dennis' direct, almost blunt, approach
to what he expects/demands from his team, such as his comments about Button and
how he compares with Senna in his ability to rally the team around him.

...Your question about a direct comparison was answered in detail with quotes from Ron, Sennas sister and Frank Williams yet you still don't understand how Lewis compares to Aryton for Ron and are now confused about riddles? Again your objective appears to have changed or forgotten

I'm sorry; but, I looked through the thread, thinking I had missed something! However,
quotes from Ron Dennis about a DIRECT comparison were NOT supplied; however, it would
seem that there was an assumption that direct quotes from others would satisfy my curiousity.
These quotes, although very complimentary, did NOT answer my direct question.

...We know what Ron's said about Lewis' skills confirming him along with Senna and Mika as his top 3 for speed...

...So basically saying 'please come back and you wouldn't have to get on with everyone - just be like Senna on track, I'll take care of the staff'

IMHO

You've offered your opinion, which is great and I appreciate it; but, again, that's not a
direct quote from Ron Dennis, such as the one he made about Button and Senna, which
must mean that he does hold Button in high regard, IMHO and that it wasn't just him
defending Button, as his current driver. I don't see Ron Dennis doing that "just because".

...Its just about hearing and taking in what Ron has said about drivers over the years. And ofcourse not to get caught up in the big words he uses as he tries to express himself absolutely.

As far as direct comparison, Ron has inferred that Lewis is exactly like Senna and Mika in all 3 being the finest drivers he has worked with over 30 years. So Lewis is like Ayrton in that they are both the finest

Sorry; but, "implying" (not inferring, which is what you did) is not the same as the direct
comparison that Ron Dennis made between Button and Senna. That's not to say
that I'm disputing Hamilton's talent or his similarity to Senna (whom I regretfully
don't know a lot about). I'm just saying that if Ron Dennis did compare Button to
Senna, he must mean what he is saying.

Sagi, it might be useful to be clear in your objectives when requesting info about Lewis...

Again, there is NO hidden agenda, just a curiousity that seems destined not be assuaged!! :(

Anyone who was curious about something and got the answers would've figured out 2 pages ago that maybe there are no direct comparisons between Lewis and Senna by RD. Instead of dragging on and on and on and on about it. RD clearly stated Button has a very distinct similarity to Senna in a way where he's able to rally the team around him to work for him. Great. I have a similarity to Senna too, I have a d!ck. Does it matter? Probably on equal footing with RD's impression of Button, when what F1 drivers pride on is driver skill and talent behind the wheel. Point had been made that RD could've said anything about Button's talent or tenacity on track (which is what Senna was known for), instead he chose to compare Button with Senna regarding their personality when not IN the car. Clap clap clap. Good for Jenson.

Anymore questions?

Now everyone go take a look at Lewis' question answer session I posted...it's cool! .........and he mentions Senna

Yep checked it out couple days back RC, what popped out for me was

@ILDIVANDA

Do you really like driving in rainy conditions? Why/why not?

LH:
I don't like driving in the wet, but I do it and I do it well!

I always thought he loved wet conditions! You learn new things about these drivers every day.

I think a lot of the incidents Massa had with Lewis were more about doing his part as a 'Ferrari team player' to help Ferraris racing driver. Like breaking his gearbox seals to give Alonso an extra grid position I think Massas front wings served the same purpose

I also seem to remember a radio conversation along the lines of 'go on screw his race up'

Maybe now Massa has a chance to be a real racer he will be less of a magnet to Alonsos old nemesis

Just to be clear: You're insinuating that Massa purposefully engaged Hamilton because
he was ordered by Ferrari to be a "team player"??

And, clouding the waters by comparing Hamilton/Massa "exchanges" with a strategic call??
That's quite the assumption to be making, actually more like a conspiracy theory!!

Oh, but wait... this is the Hamilton support thread, so you can say stuff like that, eh?? :nono:

Why argue when you are not aware of the facts
I am not insinuating anything, I am stating facts and you are getting defensive without checking

Sagi, yes or no - did Massas race engineer at any point encourage him to 'ruin Lewis' race' when they were not in direct competition for a track place, with Alonso further up the field?

P1: Elaborate post on RD, Senna, Button, Massa in a Hamilton thread questioning various aspects of all
P2: Answers questions posed and requests a direct answer reg ongoing discussion instigated by P1
P1: Declines to answer declaring the discussion is offtopic. (LOL)

@Cookin maybe it's time to be a bit smarter and just respond to posts which are worth it from now on mate, seriously.

RC has asked really nicely twice for this to stop. The circular stuff and the cheap shots end here :director:

Posts here will be about Lewis and will be supportive.

I'm sure most of us have already seen/heard this; but, since Australia is just around the corner,
I thought it was worth a re-post:

For 8 years Lewis has had representation and support at every level. Biased mainstream media is what it is, however at the unregulated social level, detractors and ABH factions must be educated about unknowingly propagating bigotry. From 'he can't manage tyres' to 'he is just a dumb speed merchant' to 'he can't handle the intelectual stuff (of turning a knob)' those too thick to realise that they are carrying out the mandate of the status quo and that the biggest threat to the status quo is the ability of the resistance to 'unplug' dumbasses by spreading the truth

To cut a long story short this is about more than F1, it's the frontline of the struggle between the blue blood status quo and it's matrix style dumbass opiated soldiers and the rising enlightened resistance.

Like some of those who initially appreciated Julian Assanges info and now think of him in a negative way can at least step back and see how the status quo has played them and used all its tricks on them, yet the dumbasses will be on forums attacking and propagating without even realise what they are doing
