There are plenty of other examples of Hamilton's disloyalty. The guy is out for himself. Just accept it.

Like i said most drivers are but i think he has some loyalty for the team or he would of been gone.

The only reasons he's not gone are because no other team can/will take him and because McLaren are one of the sport's best teams.

What?

Hamilton is only at McLaren for as long as the team are competitive (after one poor season, he's tried to make an escape) and because there are no free seats as this stage of the season. If Brawn offered Hamilton a drive now, he'd be off like a shot.

Hamilton is only at McLaren as long as he can drive their car competitivelly. If that stops its :wavey: Hammy.
Get in the real world.

I would have to disagree. He single handedly lost them a championship in 2007 and they stuck with him....he damn near did so again in 2008 and they stuck with him. Not only stuck with him those two years but NEVER ONCE publicly said a word against him. They drop the ball this year and he is in the press nearly immediately. This weekend he was asked if he was considering leaving and every press agency on the planet has said he is being evasive. Why not just support your team and say NO, I AM NOT LEAVING.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: "He single handedly lost them a championship in 2007"!!:rofl::rofl: He was a rookie and he nearly won it!! Against a two time world championship. Not too tricky a decision to decide to hang on to him!!
Besides he couldnt have lost it single handedly, he needed a pit crew to help him loose :hehe: Oh and some engineers

Oh and designers

mechanics

truckies
catering staff

cleanres
areodynamicists

strategiste

tryre people

Which of those threw the car into the pit lane gravel trap? Was it the catering staff? How about the 1st lap antics in the following race?

17 points. He was 17 points up with two races to go. He needed 4 points in two races...and he failed...in the fastest car on the grid. The car did not fail him in either of the races. The car was reliable and competitive....the driver just blew it.

When you've just be owned, that's the sort of facile remark you have to resort to.

I think Billindenver and Mclaren fan are making reasonable comments. Some could argue they're being arrogant, but i dont see it that way. Maybe Mclaren Fan is a bit unapologetic... but quite accurate as well.

Lewis has some very good ability and he has driven very well this yr considering the circumstances. But he is far from being the person, teamplayer and sportsman he flamboyantly advertises. I find him extremely childish. I thought he was just arrogant, but he is actually just childish... borderline unprofessional.

And dont forget... it was Mclaren who won him the WDC. They were solid last yr. (some issues here and there r/ performance) but as a team they were flawless. Oh.. and his drive in Silverstone :)

But every time your camp is presented with absolute fact....you do resort to some sort of remark. It's either that or pull the Schumacher or Alonso card. Your guy isn't wrong because these other two who you used to rant and rail about did it first. Last season there were a flock of you, but now that the real Lewis has come a bit more into the spotlight it is down to a few of you and some screen names created within the last month. I think it is admirable that you stick with you guy when he is looking bad and I really mean that but when you go around touting him as the next coming of Senna and a rival to Schumacher that is over the top. Further when anyone attempts to disagree it with you, you go off with cute remarks and irrelevant smoke screens. Your team can call people names and do all the argument baiting they care to do, but if anyone stoops to their level to have at it with them...out come the warnings and threats. Surely you see this, or do you want to discuss eskimos some more?

No i've finished with eskimos and as this is a reasonable post I will answer in the same vein. I do state the ridiculous sometimes, its my way of answering what I consider a ridiculous comment that I cant be bothered to answer . Also sometimes to lighten thnigs when I thn yhey may ave gone on too long or are maybe getting nasty.

Lewis-Thank you for recognising my support for Lewis is genuine. I was accused of being a bandwagon supporter at one time :hehe: I support him primarily because I see an outstanding talent. Controvesy off the track, personality and character traits are largely reported to us via the media and are subjective, rarely objective, which I guess is why I get so angry when these things are constsntly presented as facts.

Schumacher- I wont say much about him because he was never my favourite guy. I guess my thoughts about him are the closest I can get to understanding some peoples hatred of Lewis. But I never hated Michael and it wasnt off track gossip that formed my opinion of him it was on track actions.

Senna- I have never said Lewis is as good as Senna. (though I admit to hinting in this direction to wind certain people up when they're on a rant). What I do think is that Lewis has the talent and skill that Senna had,the raw talent and car control. Thats it. They are two different people motivated by different things, with different personalities from different eras. Will Lewis end up a legend? No idea. Could he? Yes.

Hypocrasy- This is the part that really irks me and probably leads to some of my retorts you are refering to. What really, really annoys me is when someone pullls out an incident and uses it as an example of what a bad character lewis is, and it is ususlly something that many/most other drivers do or have done. Here are some of the things I mean:-
Tax exile, Aggressive, Disobeys team orders, obeys team orders, father attends GP's, thinks about leaving the team, tells lies, disloyal, over exposed in media, got a show biz girlfried etc etc

Not saying I agree or disagree with that list, the point is it applies to many. This is why I sometimes refer to other drivers. Either accept that this is done by others not just lewis or leave it out. Also time is an amazing forgiver and memories very selective.

Well, there you have it  Not expecting you to agree with me but maybe you have a better idea where im coming from.

Racechick , hamilton is gonna let you eat your words one of these days. He not only proved he is disloyal to mclaren ( who made him btw ) he also made clear what he's prepared to do for a point or two. I dont blame Chris for being so critical about the guy - he seeing the light now that hammies true colours is showing, maybe about time you take off your blinkers ?? or you going to blindly hangon until you the last one vying for him..??
