Blame the person who instructed them to make crappy tyres. Pirelli have been screaming out all season to be allowed to make proper tyres.

I do feel for Pirelli, but they shouldn't have agreed to make s*** tyres, the other tyre makers wouldn't do it!

It's too lucrative a contract to risk losing. Who's to say other tyre manufacturers would have resisted pressure from the FiA?

I'm surprised you're blaming anyone at all when it comes to Pirelli, so I applaud your "progress" but Pirelli had the option to say no, we won't risk the lives of drivers. They didn't until the Silverstone fiasco.

They didn't risk the lives of any drivers! I believe the cause of the trye failures at Silverstone is still a mystery of to pin the blame on Pirelli without the full facts (which the FiA, Pirelli and the teams will most likely have) is rather pointless.

Yet the tires were completely redesigned... go figure.

Well rather than making claims about things that go on in "your world" you'd care to provide a link. To the best of my memory, there has not yet been any definite reasons given for the tyre failures at Silverstone so I suspect any changes made to the tyres were to stop them from degrading too quickly rather than for safety reasons, as they were not unsafe.
