There are plenty of other examples of Hamilton's disloyalty. The guy is out for himself. Just accept it.

Like i said most drivers are but i think he has some loyalty for the team or he would of been gone.

The only reasons he's not gone are because no other team can/will take him and because McLaren are one of the sport's best teams.

What?

Hamilton is only at McLaren for as long as the team are competitive (after one poor season, he's tried to make an escape) and because there are no free seats as this stage of the season. If Brawn offered Hamilton a drive now, he'd be off like a shot.

Hamilton is only at McLaren as long as he can drive their car competitivelly. If that stops its :wavey: Hammy.
Get in the real world.

Possibly but i don't think so i think it would take a few bad seasons for him to leave or a massive falling out with Ron and Whitmarsh.

Rubens is only on a race by race deal remeber they could quiet easily do a swop.

Think of the exta money Hamilton would bring for Brawn, i can't see that being turned down.

You're the space cadet, not me. Whereas I think things through rationally, basing my views on evidence, you are delusional.

I would have to disagree. He single handedly lost them a championship in 2007 and they stuck with him....he damn near did so again in 2008 and they stuck with him. Not only stuck with him those two years but NEVER ONCE publicly said a word against him. They drop the ball this year and he is in the press nearly immediately. This weekend he was asked if he was considering leaving and every press agency on the planet has said he is being evasive. Why not just support your team and say NO, I AM NOT LEAVING.

Where did that rumour come from, my understanding was Rubens was signed for a year and was being PAID race by race.

Well so which is it then? First you said Rubens is on a race by race contract, now you say they can throw off his contract whenever they wish. Are you just making this s*** up as you go?
#109330
Regardless of Rubens' contractual situation, he won't be leaving Brawn before the end of this year for ANYONE, i am sure of that - Ross Brawn comes across as having such a massive amount of regard for his ability. Certain drivers are way too associated with their sponsors and such that they wouldn't be able to switch teams halfway through the season as well, it just wouldn't be allowed, nor would it make sense in that respect.

This has nothing to do with Lewis or Jenson, Brawn does not need or want Lewis and Jenson almost certainly wouldn't allow it, so that's irrelevant.

The point of discussion is this "race by race" deal. That notion appeared out of nowhere this weekend, I'm searching for a source on it.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: "He single handedly lost them a championship in 2007"!!:rofl::rofl: He was a rookie and he nearly won it!! Against a two time world championship. Not too tricky a decision to decide to hang on to him!!
Besides he couldnt have lost it single handedly, he needed a pit crew to help him loose :hehe: Oh and some engineers

Oh and designers
