It never ceases to amaze me just how many opinions are based on pure speculation
and the few seconds/minutes anyone the limelight shines on them.

It seems Kimi had a few too many at a party with friends in Helsinki and admitted he had signed a deal with Ferrari for €11 mil , plus bonuses, plus sponsorship for his motocross team.

Hmmn 11mill? This means Ferrari will have paid Kimi more not to drive for them than to do so.

Ferrari are obviously some very sharp business men indeed. maybe they could sort out the Welfare system in this country. Pay the unemployed more than having a job would

errr, hold on.......

Thankfully Mercedes don't have to get distracted with this circus! But if it's true and it's Kimi in red, then Alonso will be paired with him unless like EJ's second part of the prediction is legit and Alonso goes to Red Bull.

Exciting even if it's all relatively meaningless excitement.

If Alonso goes to Red Bull (I don't see it but ... ) then I'd like to see Seb go to Merc (with the desire to become the first ever German to win a WDC in a German car) and that would then leave Lewis free to go to Ferrari.

Musical F1 seats. :hehe:

But wait... Isn't it Rosberg's contract the one that's up at the end of the year?

Lewis and Nico are going nowhere. Why would they?

Because Nico wants to be a No.1 driver? Because he puts up with a crap car for 3 years, and now when its finally turning good, he is having the limelight stolen....?

You never know.

Do you think Brawn will care about what Nico wants if Lewis wants to stay at Mercedes? I think it's clear himself and the management generally thinks Lewis is the stronger driver, and this isn't McLaren....they would prefer to maximize their strengths instead of beating it down.

So he goes to red Bull with Vettel. You think he'll have number one there?
So he goes to Ferrari with Alonso. You think he'll have number one there?

At Mercedes if he gets more points he will be number 1, it's in his hands and he's doing fine. He's in the best place for 2014. I take your point about having the limelight stolen, I feel for him, but he takes no notice of the press, within the team he has the same opportunity.

Thats nothing to do with the conversation. RC made a factual statement that Nico and Lewis are going nowhere. Now, whilst I agree that is probably true, I was just trying to point out she actually dosent KNOW how either of the drivers feel, and that they are both staying put. She was stating opinion as fact.

Its got nothing with the drivel you wrote, and dragging every single f***ing conversation round to your boring, retarded, and down-right childish obsession with slagging off McLaren.

Im just saying he MIGHT have options, and nothing is guaranteed. So you can make a statement of fact that he isnt going anywhere, as you dont know.
