Who cares who, how, why or when he dates...

I'll drink to that; this is a F1 forum, not a woman's magazine!

Too bad the British media and the cameramen don't get that, eh? :P

Apparently, Hamilton posted pictures of himself skiing a couple of days after Schumi's accident.
Some fans are not impressed, as could be expected. Whilst others defend him, as could be expected.

Love him or hate him, he's always in the spotlight!

Well if he knows the dangers. It is not as of someone he knows has just been seriously hurt doing the same... oh no wait!

If you have a $10 head put a $10 helmet on it.

Apparently, in some shots he's not wearing a helmet.
That video seems to be of him not wearing on while ski-dooing?

(( I ask because I only saw the first couple of seconds before an
error message appeared and stopped the video... ))

People are idiots, anyone that has as a favorite on FB saw they were snow shoes, and he was hiking through a trait with his dogs. Did I mention people are idiots? You'd think the afternoon dispatch and courier would have bothered to look at his FB page?

Correct me, if I'm wrong, these are snowshoes:

But, these seem to be skis:

Yes, correct, but these are Olympic skiers in a race not wearing helmets, wonder why they don't wear helmets?

Yet, these Olympians do:

Maybe it depends on the event?

(( Or maybe on whether they're having a bad hair day?? ))

Here's Alonso on his FB page cross country sking with out a helmet as well. :yikes:

And yes Sagi it does depend on the event... so why would a news outlet write a red meat article about it and then share it with the red meat eaters?

First of all, I think the problem fans are having with Hamilton's pictures is the timing!
As far as I'm concerned, he's a big boy and he can decide for himself what he does or
doesn't wear when he skis, snowboards, or anything else. Nor do I care what he does
or doesn't post about.

Secondly, you needn't get defensive, as I hardly posted a condemnation of Hamilton!!
Finding pictures of Olympians and Alonso not wearing helmets is basically suggesting
that if other people are doing it, then it's ok that he do it, too. Again, I think the
problem seems to be in the timing.

As for the "red meat" comment, if you're referring to me, then please understand that
my intention was to share something I found odd. Again, it wasn't a condemnation.

Waste of time. The guy instagrams, tweets, posts almost everything he does in his daily life....and if he chooses to go skiing to pass some time and posts that, it's his life. Nobody gives a crap, and the ones condemning him are probably just a bunch of idiots looking for something to divert their heartache of their recuperating hero. Just because Schumacher had an accident doesn't mean the rest of us need to sit at home and mourn 24/7, life goes on.

I suppose Lewis has control of the seasons now? I mean he is living and enjoying his time in Winter. He is posting his usually daily events on FB and Instagram which happens to be in the snow.
I know Ferrari fans don't like Lewis but this is just petty and pathetic to have a go at him for enjoying the snow. I mean shall all the ski fields in Europe be empty in consideration for Michael?
