England 3 - 0 Italy!!!1

I was even cheering on Arsenal *Runs to the shower*

Yup although Juventus are a spent force these days and Roma was a soft draw for Arsenal. Inter, Bayern and Barca are the only teams in europe capable of taking the fight to the Premiership teams atm and Inter didn't really look like beating Man U. All England Champ League final looks on again

Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, none are owned by the English, none have English coaches and more than 97% of the starting line ups of all 4 teams are non English. Roma, Juventus, AC Milan and Inter. All owned by Italians, all (excpet Inter) have Italian coaches, more than 50% of the player on all teams (Except Inter) are Italian. International 3, Italy 0. English football team coached by Italian Fabio Capello. Italian football national team coached by Lippi. What the hell is English? Jack sh1t O would say. Italy 2006 world champions and current world champions. England 1966. gee that was long time ago. In that time Italy also saw 1968 European Champions and 1982 World Champions and runner up to France in the 2000 European Championships. Italy has pride. England has none because all that is English isn't English because they have no English left in it. Soon you will probably have all the second rated Italian players get English passports and play for Capello's Italian England because all the English players he coaches are avaerage, with the exception of Steven Gerrard. Italy CHAMPIONS AND THE GREATEST AND FULL OF PRIDE, England NO LONGER ENGLISH. btw was nice to see Udinese thump Zenit 2-0 ths morning. Udine my city WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Well the first leg for now anyway).

Juventus next year will be the force to beat. fact. Juve has only just re-built their squad after Calciopoli. Ad dont be illuded because of this early Italian clubs exit. Roma was unlucky to lose on penalties and Inter hit the woodwork twice. had the 2 goals gone in, it would of been 2-2 and Inter would of won on away goals. Chelsea only won by a goal scored at home and the draw in Turin was lucky. Essiens goal was lucky and Chiellini's red card was way to harsh. But I wont sobber over this. I know that this exact thing happened in 2002. No Italian club made it past the final 8 then. And what happend in 2003. 3 Italian clubs in the semi final and one Spanish club and 2 Italian clubs in the final. I would say a similar thing will happen in 2010 as Juventus prepare to buy many players as also do AC Milan, especially with the backline. Inter are already good as well. And this time we will see all 4 big Italian clubs finish in the top 4 spots in Serie A to all be in the UCL next season. Calciopoli effect is over. The EPL will burn to its knees next season as history always repeats itself. Oh and remember this as well. An English club hasn't won yet this season as well. Barca or Bayern Munich are good enough to win. Although I wouldn't mind Chelsea winning before all the English clubs start losing when the inevitable turn of the tide comes.

I support Inter Milan btw. They were clearly outclassed by Manchester Untied and were lucky to come out of the first leg with a clean sheet. I don't think they did badly but the Premiership teams are the class of Europe at the moment whether I or anyone else likes it or not.
Juventus and to some extent Inter and AC need to spend a whole lot of money to catch up as they don't have nearly as many exciting young players in their squads as the English clubs.
With specific reference to Inter, they need to start spending money on transfer fees for young players rather than on the wages of old players who can't really compete anymore. Just seeing the squad lists side by side in the Man U - Inter game made me pessimistic

I guess I cant really argue about the English clubs being better at the moment. But with all things the tide always changes. Although what is really a concern is what are the 4 big English clubs, Inter-Milan and Real Madrid going to do in about 3 seasons from now when they introduce that new rule that allows only 5 non local players to be fielded in any one given time. This is where all those mentioned clubs will struggle. Regarding young players, Juve has a real good program for delveloping young players and their young teams have always to this day been successful in tournaments for young players. Ie. Torneo della Primavera. It will take at least a couple of years but Juve will be the force of the future. If the big 4 English clubs, Inter and Real do not change their ways, once the new rule takes effect they will fall behind. But that is ok as far as Inter is concerned. I would rather they lose and have the English clubs win than them. (Although I equally don't like Man Utd and Liverpool). But there is always Chelsea and Arsenal I do not mind. :)
