You do realise that you are meant to buy those little tubs of Dulex paint samples in B & Q?

They come in little glass jars in Boots too.

I like the McLaren orange. Index finger on right hand, or eight digit from the left.

I've felt earthquakes before, but yesterday's was relatively powerful, huge for the east coast of the US. It was a surreal experience as I was on a conference call with a guy in DC and a guy in Baltimore and myself near Philly and the DC guy felt it first then a few seconds later the Baltimore guy felt it and then I felt it. Ahhh seismic waves. :cloud9:

It's my 5555th post. :wine:

Cleared a load of crap from the attic. Some of it is going to the charity shops.

Keeping the old Matchbox cars though! They'll be worth something one day!

AHA!Success!! Did it through photobucket in the end.
Not a very professional nail job....but painting nails is rarely top of my agenda....in fact it never is. But i do like playing around with the colours :P
So...... here we are.....drum roll...introducing Racechicks...NAILS!!!!

 Very nice!

I've given up on painting my fingernails - whether I use cheap or expensive nail varnish, it always ends up chipped after 10 minutes :(

Yeah, one day I'm going to do a boot sale / some kind of sale on the things that will actually be worth something, which I don't use any more.

One of the things I rarely let go is books though. I'm very fond of them all. I also dream about having loads and loads of books on massive book-cases one day... a library of imagination and inspiration and great stories that I loved all the way from childhood onwards. Then they can be passed down through the generations of children, relatives and friends, inspiring them and allowing them to dream. As Hector says in The History Boys, by Alan Bennett. "Pass it on boys, pass it on...not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day."

Ahhhh, magical.... :cloud9:

Yeah , know what you mean about books but its getting ridiculous. A lot are 'left over from teaching' books. Had to have a cull. But my favourites all remain...and all my motorsport ones. Too many cookbooks too. Keep buying knew ones. I real aught to let go the ones Ive never used. But maybe one day.....

Had my fifth crap day in a row and found out that I can't trust myself to do simple stuff. Fun times. :)

I also spent all day watching F1 instead of doing any work. The new guy looked a bit stunned, my boss didn't care. :hehe:
