Well raced Jenson but pretty boring race i thought. Hoped Webber would have moved past a Ferrari but wasnt to be, pleased he scored though.. Vettel was poor.Heikki Heikki!!!! This was a chance!

Button for win.
Barichello for 2nd place. (Actually grabs second place at the first 5 seconds of the race)

Ferrari(s) on podium
Vettel non-podium. (Due to Massa behind him AGAIN - see Barcelona)

not very hard to predict at all

shame that vettel had to DNF so soon

ferrari!!!!!

So, I guess that's why McLaren did not put Lewis on to a one-stop strategy from the pit lane - it wouldn't have been possible. Those super-soft tyres once again showed that they need some work from Bridgestone, but Button did very well to make them last and keep them in such good condition in comparison to Barrichello.

It was nice to see Raikkonen on the podium again, and indeed to see both Ferraris in the points. Likewise Rosberg, although I had hoped he might have made it as far as fifth. Vettel was somewhat disappointing today, but his misfortune actually provided some excitement - it was nice to see him and Massa battling, then Rosberg getting past both of them.

First time a Ferrari or McLaren has been on the podium this year isnt it? Anyways, great drive by Jenson I dont think he put a wheel wrong all day. I was happy for Kimi, Webber, and Bourdais today even though I thought the race was a yawner. I hope indy will be exciting.

It's being suggested that this is the first time the same engine has won 3 GPs. How long were engines used in the 1950s?

not sure about the 1950s,

but the Mercedes engine does have bulletproof reliability so far.... stunning, really.

Buttonwagon fans should be happy, your CAR is driving really fast. congratzzzzz!!
I cant imagine how disappointing it is for Lewis, who is actually top 3 driver (Massa,Raikkonen) and some dude Button laps him.

Bitter, are we? Surely, if Button wasn't a good driver, he'd have made a load of mistakes by now, wouldn't have been able to pull two successive impressive qualifying laps (this race and last) out of nowhere and would not have been able to manage his tyres better than anyone else?

I actually have a theory. Perhaps the Mercedes engine is simply great around monaco. I mean, Brawn took another dominate 1-2. Whilst Force India and McLaren were punching above their weight. Maybe it's just coincidence.

But no doubt, that Mercedes engine is the class of the field. Not only is it powerful, its manageable and bullet-proof.

Anyway, Button wins yet again. Who could've seen it coming. Personally I was hoping there was be some challenge. But no, he romped off in that first stint. Button's got great tyre management, and his is driving outstanding. He's so good, it's boring.

Anyways, Ferrari finally got it right. Darn it for Massa, he certainly could've leaped Kimi in the 2nd stops. But Button had to ruin it, nothing against him, but he's grinding me nerves. Massa did a great job to challenge Kimi when you consider how much time he lost behind Vettel. But that's racing, and next weekend it's Istanbul. I doubt Massa can make it 4 wins in a row, but lets hope for a podium.

Strange accidents today. Vettel and Kovy crashing. Two drivers you wouldn't exactly expect to crash out, but there you go. One mistake and your gone, it's that easy at Monaco. But Nakajima, will be in trouble for that crash. Usually teams can understand, when they're shouting push, that you can make mistakes. But it was his last lap, no one was close to him. Why he made such a stupid mistake is beyond me.

I expected a much more boring race, but at least we had some excitement during the first laps courtesy of Vettel. So all in all, it was a pretty good race. It was just predictable though after the first stops.

Williams I personally believe they have the pace, but their problem is fuel. That car does not look good with heavy fuel. We see it in Q3, williams lose pace with the fuel load, and today in the race. Nico had the pace in the first stint, but when he swapped to a heavy middle stint, his pace dropped of the face of the earth. Really, the soft tyres weren't that bad, so some lost opportunity for Nico today. A shorter middle stint might've given them a shot at Webber.

But my favourite drives of the day, Fisi and Bourdais. Both quietly stealing 8th and 9th. STR will be happy with that, but Force India with another 9th place. So close again to the points. But top drive from Fisi.
