Problem is whenever Button is close to Lewis on track, somehow McLaren manage to f**k it up for Lewis...probably knowing Jenson needs more help than Lewis at that certain point in time and this ends up compromising Lewis inadvertently. Which is why I prefer Button to be out of the picture so McLaren has a clear picture on maximizing Lewis' chances in a race.

I hear the frustration in your written tone. I too share the frustration of the incredible off-track performance of the team this season. It's unfortunate that Lewis has had the lion's share of it but the team simply can't carry on like that forever so based on that, I'm optimistic that some good fortune is bound to begin swinging Lewis' way soon. Otherwise, Whitmarsh will be on a tightrope for his job and the sponsors will speak the way they know best...hold back some cheques or simply go elsewhere. Ron won't have it either—he's worked too long and hard to build up the F1 arm as a powerhouse to simply watch it melt down. Lewis is coming back, no question about it...one way or the other. :)

So he just needs a monkey boy to be there just for sponsors. What a load of crap dude.

Red Bull spanked everything and everyone in 2010 and 2011, with two very different drivers and different setups on many occasions. I think Lewis has more trouble adapting to the tight-almost no wheel to wheel-type driving that f1 has turned into.

He's also had some bad luck, and some majorly poor equipment.

Yes, there is a conspiracy, Lewis' mechanics are switching Jenson's tyres when his mechanics are not looking, that's why Jenson is so slow! :twisted:

Button is going to need to raise his game if he is going to be able to support Lewis' bid for the WC by taking points off his rivals. Qualifying from 13th or 14th could be messy, especially with all the talented drivers in cars that match his car in race trim. Maybe it will help the team not screw up strategies if the two drivers are far apart on the grid.

Button didn't get the right set up and has not fully adjusted to the tyres.

I'm just saying...

More likely to be the Ron Dennis ghost though.

Err...did I miss something? Is the Ronster dead? Can you have a ghost whilst still alive and well? :hehe:

As it seems that everyone now believes theres a conspiracy at McLaren, lets look at this again;

The first error for Lewis was a wrong clutch setting dropping him behind Button - yes this could be the team trying to save money on Hamiltons contract by having him second place in team

The 5 errors in a row by the same wheelman is a completely effective and slick operation, therefore it couldnt have been Mclaren, maybe it was Lewis' management trying to increase the value of the contract by trying to make the team look bad

Well we know who won that little tussle

Another conspiracy would be why Button who is so clearly capable of qualifying on pole each race is so bad, again this could be lewis' management, trying to make lewis look good. This again has been so effective and efficient that we cannot credit the team. In fact this has been engineered over the last 13 years of Jensons career, starting with a secret brainwashing session where he was trained to say 'I couldnt find the balance' and more sinisterly 'I couldnt find the grip'

Another, how can Button start ahead of Lewis in Spain and gain one place as a result of someone dropping out whereas lewis starts last and beats Jenson? I would say this conspiracy is Jensons side hitting back by trying to get Button ahead of lewis but screwing it up massively

Finally the biggest conspiracy of all, why Jenson pretended that extra time with the tyres at Mugello were not required as he is a tyre master

So conspiracy city, no pity :yikes::whip:
