Why would Mclaren want to pay anyone more? maybe one gets it's sources from Lewis' management who no doubt will be chatting to other top teams and saying "Mclaren have offered him 150 Million and a packet of crisps, what you going to give him?"

So Hamilton miles ahead of Button in Monaco.

I'm just saying....

I'd be surprised if he wasn't. Told my cousin halfway through Q2 to say goodbye to Jenny.

Dissapointed with McLarens pace though...clearly struggling here. I think Lewis is lucky to start 3rd tomorrow, Renaults and Mercedes and even Redbull looks strong here. Don't know whatsup with Vettel though.

Yes, the McLaren isn't ideally suited for Monaco but it's not luck that Lewis is P3. What we witnessed (again) is Lewis' ability to get every ounce of performance from the car, regardless of its flaws. Looking forward, this is a good sign for Canada...at least for him. Jenson has a bigger problem coming and he knows it. Now McLaren has a problem with their WCC aspirations. Someone needs to really help Jenson if they want the WCC.

I hear they're going to run the race in reverse so Button is in fact miles ahead.

He'll somehow work his way backwards and finish 9th, several places behind Lewis. (Umm...did I say that out loud?!) :P

He's had enough help, lets just try and get Lewis some serious results from here on in...there's too many competitors around for McLaren to f**k around.

I hear ya Hammer but as much as I want more consistency from Lewis with less cockups from the team, leading to his ultimate 2012 WDC, I also want McLaren to get Jenson right enough to help bring the WCC back to Woking. Jenson will likely never get to the elite level (Lewis, Alonso, Vettel) based on pure talent but he needs to perform at a high enough level under all circumstances this season to give the team the best chance...not just on the odd perfect circumstances. Yes, I'm greedy...I want both Championships back to Woking. Perfect example of the line by Gordon Gekko, "Greed is good!" :D

Problem is whenever Button is close to Lewis on track, somehow McLaren manage to f**k it up for Lewis...probably knowing Jenson needs more help than Lewis at that certain point in time and this ends up compromising Lewis inadvertently. Which is why I prefer Button to be out of the picture so McLaren has a clear picture on maximizing Lewis' chances in a race.
